I have a large back yard with a dozen 80' trees in it so the amount of fall leaves to be bagged and hauled out front is staggering. I've been holding the bottom of a bag with my foot and the top with 1 hand - leaving one hand to push leaf piles into a half-open 33 gallon trash bag. This bag holder does a TERRIFIC job of holding the bag close to the ground AND open while freeing both hands to shove leaves into the bag. If you have a lot to bag, YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT !!

I've found this tool to be very helpful while gathering leaves from my yard. It's easy to use and I avoid constantly bending over.

Before I get to the cons, I'd like to say that having this device is way better than not having it. I am able to 'sweep' piles of leaves into it and fill the bags about halfway, and that's better than bending and lifting. However, it needs to be about half again bigger to maximize the convenience. It doesn't stretch the garbage bag, so the loose edges can get caught with the rake and then nothing goes in. Even when you figure out to fold the extra width of the bag before snapping on the piece that holds it onto the hoop, after the bag is half full, the leaves just spill out the front as soon as you pull the rake away.I found that I could fill the bag about halfway, and then I'd need to stand it up and fill the rest of it the old-fashioned way, bending and lifting an armful of leaves at a time. Next year, I'll add some of those big 'hands' to pick them up, and then the process will be a little faster.Despite the lackluster star rating I gave it, I'd buy it again if it broke. Any little bit of labor-saving helps.

I like the concept behind this, but ended up having to just use my hands to pick up hedge trimmings anyway. This just put two holes in my leaf bag and was also stuck in the bag when I tried to remove it. It was easy to assemble, and I wanted to love this product, but it just did not work out for me.

First, there is a burr on both sides, where the holes were drilled. I had to remove burrs to be able to assemble. Second, I could not get the holes to match. I marked the area, after I removed burr and measured, where the parts should meet, to insert screw. I could never get the holes to match. The holes may have matched and the screws would not insert correctly, I’m not sure. The assembly is nothing like the video the company provided. Very disappointed.

Honestly, I am not a gardening person. When I started cleaning my garden it took forever to just fill up one bag with leaves. It was a pain. Now with this, I fill up a bag in less than 5 minutes. It makes cleaning WAY faster. Like another review said once it gets half full you have to push the leaves to the back because they start falling out of the bag... you now gravity. This was the best purchase I made during this quarantine.

Great concept and works as intended. Just wish it had a wider radius for true large leaf bags. I had purchased extra large garbage bags to use for leaf cleanup and in theory it worked but not as well as it could've if it had a wider opening. A snow shovel is about as wide as the opening this product will provide. Add a scoop of leaves and it becomes difficult to slide the shovel back out of the bag while leaving the leaves inside. Would be great for smaller to medium sized jobs such as weed pulling and general cleanup.
