TKL7826 SG Style Electric Guitar Case

Would have given it a better rating but there were two long staples that hold one side of the storage compartment sticking out about 1/8 inch. I had to tap them in with a small hammer. Also there were two small spots where the coating had a small hole in it. Covered it the black acrylic paint. Still I like the case, my Blueshawk fits perfectly.

I bought this case for an SG special faded. Maybe I was expecting too much. Would I buy it over again? Yes. Is it as nice as the Gibson case that came with an LP I bought about to years ago? Nope. My main complaint is that the latches do not feel very secure. I will probably try and work on them a little or just use a padlock to make sure the case doesn't open. On the other hand, the guitar fits snugly and the case will protect it a lot better than a gig bag. Somehow I was under the impression that these were made in Canada; I'm not sure where I got that idea. It's not a bad case, but not North American quality IMHO. Like I said, I would buy it again based on the price and competing cases and gig bags in its price range.

As I have just received this case, I can only offer my initial impressions of it. It fits my Gibson SG Special like a glove! It is a very snug fit, and does not allow any movement of my guitar inside the case. This is a good thing in my opinion. It seems to be able to protect the headstock from accidental damage and I no longer fear that my SG will be damaged when transporting it. It should last a few years at the very least, as the construction seems to be very good. I don't know why I didn't purchase one sooner. It is far better than the cheap gig bag that came with the guitar.

Received my case, and it had a pretty good sized crack in it. I loved the design but wish it could have been handle safer. Or packaged better

It arrived in great condition; however it doesn't fit perfectly.For a generic case and money paid it's not a bad product.

This is not for an SG style guitar as advertised

My Gibson SG fits very snugly and securely in this case. The case is well-padded, so it can take some bumping around and I know my guitar is safe. A covered compartment inside gives you space for accessories. The case closes and snaps securely. Easy to carry.The case feels solidly constructed. It's not going to withstand being hit by a truck, but it take some pretty good knocking around and still the guitar safe.The only downside is figuring out how to position the guitar strap so that it all fits it in easily.

This is a great case! It fit my SGJ perfectly! It's built very sturdy. I'm going to get another one for my acoustic guitar.
