Globe Electric HZ-5831-WH LED Activated Security 2100 Lumen Light Output and 180 Degree Motion Detection Zone up to 70 ft, White

I have had a number of motion-sensor floodlights over the years, so I have some perspective on the performance of the motion detectors that they use. This one is substandard by comparison to others . . . it does not detect motion for much of a distance, even with a high sensitivity setting. The light remains on for quite a while after sunrise, also, indicating that the photo sensor does not work well either.The lamp heads are adequate but not massively bright. I have seen better in the units my neighbors have.I had hoped for better from Heath/Zenith, but I might have been happier with a no-name brand from China.

Its a mediocre light. I have it set at 13ft high and it provides just enough light for a 15x30 space. I'd probably go more lumens if I were to do it again. the light level is just not enough for the space. The motion detector, like all motion detectors is finicky.

These are bright fixtures and I used them to replace some older Heath Zenith units with quartz halogen bulbs. The old ones were unreliable and burned out frequently. So far this unit is functioning as it is supposed to with motion activation very reliably.I have one under an eave which provides a much brighter/wider area of lighting then the unit that was replaced.Under eave (8 foot) there is not quite as much adjustment of the bulbs as I would like, but they worked out fine. If the eave were higher it would be a moot point.

The lights don't have enough downward adjustment but they still light up a sufficient area. I'd prefer more adjustment in all directions but the amount of light is excellent.

This is a great light! Make sure you turn off the circuit breaker to the fixture and have good ground before installing this light or you risk damaging the circuit board of this light and it won't function properly.

Sure would like to see a product made in china that lasts more than a year.

Two of this model have failed. Yes, the manufacturer honors the warranty by supplying a replacement but each time we have to hire an electrician. A dependable product would be preferred. This is clearly defective.

Easy install, looks good and most importantly lights up dark area.
