I bought this as an experiment, trying to find a cheaper alternative to the George L cable system I've used for my pedalboards so far. Having recently expanded my board (it's a disease) I found I needed at least four new leads of various lengths. These seem to do the job just as well as the George L leads, the actual leads themselves being about the same size and shape. There is one thing I prefer about these cheaper ones, which is the size of the heads of the plugs. They're significantly smaller, due to having no thumbscrew, just a cap and a normal phillips set screw in the side. This means better use of space on the board that the GLs, something pretty important when space is at a premium. I'd definitely use them again.

I found the Crosby floor pedal cable system simple to use and the result was low cost for such a simple but effective solution to the cable problems I had seen by using cheap cabling. The cable on this system was thinner than what I had been used to but it mattered not!I used my Crosby cables for rack mounted gear in to a GCX switcher and it tidied up the back of the rack incredibly well.

Cabled my pedalboard easily, the cables are good quality, low noise and easy to put together. Will buy again.Fantastic customer support.

Having made 10 of these cables only a few of them worked and the connection appeared very finicky and unreliable. I have previously used a different solderless system and soldered my own cables with no issues, but found making these cables troublesome to say the least. Unless you want to spend hours recutting, squashing ends of cable perfectly round and re-screwing caps only to find the cable still doesn’t work, I would avoid this product.
