I'm a woman who has very pale skin and needs sun protection! From soccer tournament to beach days with my kids. I chose this shirt because I wanted a looser cut. After wearing for a couple years, I still love it. I usually wear a women's XL and ordered the XL in this men's shirt. It is comfortably loose but not overly big. It's a great light weight layering shirt for the fall and spring. Today I finally got brave and wore it over my swimsuit while swimming at the beach. It was comfortable and I loved not having to worry about whether my sunscreen had washed off in my back. I'm the only one of our party of four that got home without a sunburn! ❤️❤️❤️ Now my daughter wants one because she hates putting on sunscreen! She rushes through it and misses parts and she hates waiting for it to soak in before getting back in the water. This makes it so much easier!

Great sun protection, very comfortable, quick drying. A pretty wonderful piece of work, at a way low price. Originally bought a patagonia for $80 but did not like fit or the way it lt looked. Fairly dirt resistant,I used it on a ten day kayak trip in the Sea of Cortez. Cloudless brilliant days .I wore it all day every day kayaking and swimming and it looked the same after ten days as it did in the beginning, in spite of it being white.A very nice piece of work, highly recommended. Ordered a size up for extra room and glad I did. No thumb holes or pockets. Plenty of arm length, belly room and hood coverage with the size up. 6' tall/ 190 lbs. Breathes well and dries quickly. Test of time will tell, but it has protected from sure sunburns. Bought for fishing/outdoors and I have even worn it at night as I found it helps with annoying insects. As long as there was a slight breeze it didn't seem to add any warmth. I haven't used a similar product before so I can't compare. 4 stars until I can factor in durability.

I wear a lot of shirts similar to this but they are usually more expensive. I made sure to check this out closely on delivery and was pleasantly surprised. It's similar/the same material as my Aftco, Columbia, or Reel Legends gear. The stitching is good quality and there were not any loose threads like I sometimes get. I always worry about trying hooded items from new brands because it's an area a lot of companies skimp on and they're too small; this shirt has a hood that you can definitely use. I am usually torn between ordering an XL/2XL based on the brand and I am definitely glad I went with the 2XL, it fits perfectly. Overall I am very impressed with the quality and the price, I'll be ordering more in the future.

I love this lightweight hoodie. I purchased it specifically for fishing. It was half the price of the name brand options but it's just as comfortable. I have now used it on several occasions for sun protection. I've used it fishing in the Midwest for long days in the sun, I have used it on a hiking outing in Maine, and I recently used it for several days of fishing in Southwest Florida in the blistering July heat. It's lightweight and doesn't get too hot. I'm ordering another one now. Great product!

This hoodie is perfect for those PNW spring time morning runs or chores. It breathes well and is very comfortable. I have a few of these and they also work well for the sunny, windy days at the beach.

This is the perfect lightweight cover up, but it's a tiny bit too tight on the forearms. It's fine if you're not rolling it up a little bit but I found that a little annoying personally. Not enough of an issues since after all it's meant to cover your arms!

I've been trying to find a good quality sun hoody for hot days. My criteria are that I wanted a synthetic material for durability, as breathable and cool as possible without being see-through thin, water wicking, and high UPF rating. Most of the products I found were about 3x as expensive as this item, and since I wanted to buy a few, I thought this would be a very economical solution if it worked well.The Pros: The material is quite decent. It's just thick enough that it's not see through, so I can wear it without anything beneath without feeling exposed, even when moist (though becomes just slightly transparent when soaking wet). It feels fairly breathable, and it sufficiently water/sweat wicking.The Cons: The stitching looks somewhat questionable. Numerous loose thread ends at the beginnings/ends of stitch lines. Perhaps just a cosmetic issue, but a detail that raises concern. I can't exactly put my finger on why, but the stitch lines themselves are giving me a little doubt on the long term durability. I'm not an expert on stitch-work, so the best I can do is update this review if my hunch is right or wrong after a decent amount of wearing and wash cycles.The Fit: I purchased an XL. I am 6'2'', 210lbs, average build. Generally XL fits me OK, and may give a bit of extra room in some areas depending on style. The sleeves are a touch shorter and narrower than I would expect from XL. For reference, in dress shirts I wear sleeve size 36-37. With arms extended, the sleeves of this product ride up a couple inches. While the chest/shoulder size is fairly spot on, the sleeves catch around the forearm/elbow when extending my arms, and pull on the fabric through the shoulders, which makes it feel like it starts to constrict a bit. Though the stretchiness of the fabric makes this only a minor annoyance. I think buying another size up may resolve this.Overall impression: A decent buy for the price, but with some minor drawbacks. If it holds up well after more rigorous testing, I may buy another (and increase my review rating accordingly), but right now I think I may continue considering other options due to concerns about construction quality.
