It's been almost 2 years with my 64 oz, and it's still awesome
Had my teakwood 64 oz s'well for almost 2 years now and finally writing a review to say it's held up awesomely! The handle broke off about a year ago after dropping it, but I mainly keep it in a holder anyway so no biggie. First, the one downside I discovered early is that since this is all steel aside of the inside cap's insulation ring, it is HARD to open when your hands are sweaty and/or covered in sunblock (I'm a trail runner, so sunblock and sweat are a part of life); I fixed this by using those thick rubber bands that come around produce. This is very minor to me though. Aside of that, my roamer is banged up and dented but that's what happens when you're outdoorsy! I got this for the ALL STEEL aspect of it. Properly taken care of, NO mold ever, keeps water cold w/lots of ice for 24 hours, and always dependable to refill my small handheld water bottle with COLD water when dang, you just want cold water in the middle of a long trail run. I keep it in the trunk of my car for pit stops.Aside of being my backup water on long runs, I use this on day outings with my family. My 5 year old daughter can always have ice cold water - and ice cold is how she likes it - on demand, since this roamer truly keeps water cold, but I do use a lot of ice, at least 8 oz. Enough for walking/playgrounds/beach days for both of us.Finally, it's pretty :). Yes, I like pretty things, and the teakwood is what really attracted me. The fact it works well and is steel is a huge bonus.

Keeps drinks cold and proportions work
We were looking for a large bottle to keep our home made margarita mix cool for hours when having a guests over on a hot day. The opening needed to be large enough to put ice cubes in but small enough to pour without spilling. Of course we could always add ice later but I like having it all ready. It also needed to fit on the inside of the refrigerator door to not take up too much room. Our refrigerator door has a slightly larger lower shelf and this fits. We used to use a large wide mouthed Yeti bottle and it was easy to put ice in but made a big mess every time we tried to pour it. This bottle is perfect.

Really good bottle.
It keeps stuff cold for a long time and hot as well for a long time. Definitely leak proof. Only issue I have is the hard plastic handles. When they break you can't get them separately. Unless you contact S'well.

Vacuum seal is an issue
I have a 32oz swell that I have had for a few years and love it. My daughter bought it for me and I use it daily. I was so pleased with it that months after she gave it to me, I bought the 64oz as I sometimes need more tea to get through my day. It wasn't long before the vacuum seal failed. I could see no visible dents but assumed the seal failed due to a drop or bumping it. I was disappointed but eventually bought another and to my dismay it wasn't long before it was no longer keeping things cold either. I chocked it up to the 640z being too heavy making them easy to damage. Months after losing a second one due to loss of the seal, I find myself tempted to buy another. I love the size and my 32OZ is a champ, but I fear I will be throwing my money away yet again. I would buy another 32, but lugging two around daily would be a chore. Bottom line, it is a great product, but the large size is heavy and harder to handle.

Wait in line…
If you are filling this baby up at a fountain, be prepared to stand a while because the 64 oz holds a LOT of water! It’s taller and wider than other thermoses and most of the pictures online that reflect a squattier looking bottle are pictures of the 40 oz. This is MUCH bigger. That being said, I LOVE it. I got this bottle because I don’t like refilling my water bottle at other fountains and faucets throughout the work day and 2 water bottles are never enough. This should take care of that! So far no leaks and the bottle retains its’ cold temperature throughout the work day. The handle makes it easy to manage but I slip it into one of my work bags and haven’t noticed any condensation or leaks yet. Also it’s beautiful and my husband tried to snag it. This one is all mine.

It works
Color me silly... somehow I thought it was going to be REAL teak instead of teak-designed vinyl! I know... I didn't really think it through.I have kidney stones -- new experience for me -- and I hated the large water jug I had gotten. I realized one of the reasons why I didn't use it enough is because I hated it! When I saw this jug, I fell in love!It is pretty and it makes more sense for it not to be wood covered! lol... It IS very heavy, but I just consider that a mini-workout. I do find that I don't resent, so much, having to drink water because this jug is pretty. One downside: On my urologist's suggestion, I was adding lemon juice to my water. I think the lemon was doing something to the metal because it started tasting weird. I may have been using too much lemon -- I really want to get rid of this last stone! I stopped adding the lemon juice to the jug and it tastes okay now.

Leaks when flat
This thing can keep ice for a about 2 days but unfortunately it doesnt keep a good seal. When leaning or on its side it tends to leak a bit. If leaking is an issue then stay clear away from this one. If yours will only have water and be kept straight up at all times then this might work for u.
