Q: I have a rak toilet with soft closing seat which does not soft close anymore. dimensions 330mm x 445mm. is it possible to get a replacement?

There are replacements on Amazon, but you need to know the model, not the size. The toilet I have is the Summit, and was able to purchase a genuine RAK soft close toilet seat for it, here on Amazon. I’m not sure, I have the same loo and the Rak loo seat fits perfectly, but when I moved in the seat didn’t fit the loo so the fittings had to be changed. It’s meant to be easy fit so if you are replacing like for like it should be ok.

Q: Is this an actual toilet or is it just the seat?

It is the toilet seat and lid. Porcelain toilet base is not included.

Q: What is the gap between fixing holes? We have two hinges with 15.5cm in between and can’t change them so trying to find a seat that will fit

Hello, This was the first toilet seat I'd ever fitted. It was a little fiddly , but I did it in the end. I don't think it matters what the gap measures, the fittings should fit if you fiddle around with them. You have to keep closing the seat to see if it 's in the right place. This seat was bought for the Summit toilet, so if you have a Summit toilet it will fit.
