Quality food, ingredients matches expensive prescription food
I was worried about some of the lower reviews that my pup would not eat this as he is a picky eater. He was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. My vet sells prescription k/d food and will not authorize me to get it for lower cost elsewhere. So, shopping around I went and landed on this dog food and after a lot of research decided to go for it. I am glad I did as my finicky pup eats this stuff.Bear in mind the food is made for animals not humans so your opinion on how appealing the food is to you does not matter nor should count in the review. Reviews should be restricted to whether or not your pup likes it, will eat it, and if their stool changes after proper introduction and change to this food occurs. The important take away is does your dog like it, eat it, and is happy with it. My answer to all of these is a resounding yes. The prescription with vet approval food cost around $125 for about the same size bag. Personally I don't think it smells any different than most other quality dog foods. My pups stool remains unchanged after properly migrating him over from the prescription to the Forza10.I highly recommend trying this food but bear in mind that it is not returnable which is the only downside I could find. However, I have another pup that will eat anything and everything so I could always give it to her. Overall I am happy with my purchase and will continue to purchase.

Best Non-Rx Formula for Us
My dog has early kidney disease. She is an 11 year old GSD. We used a few different prescription only dog foods for almost two year. My dog had reactions to all of them. She would get ear infections, get itchy hot spots, loose stools. Forza food is expensive but it didn't require a prescription and it got good reviews so I thought I could see how it goes. We had already wasted money on expensive Rx brands.First impression was wow. The kibble doesn't look like cheap puffy children's cereal, similar to an Rx brand. The kibble appears to be more dense and better quality than others. They are shaped like squares and hearts. After a month I immediately noticed a difference. Her fur started to grow back, no more itching or pulling fur out. Also, I feel like she was able to absorb more of the food because she isn't pooping out as much as with the other foods. Plus she loves to eat it.I have used this food for well over a year and I am very happy. I highly recommend. I am not a veterinarian. I am sharing my experience with this product as a customer only. Always consult your vet for your pets individual needs.

GREAT INGREDIENTS and my DOG LOVES IT!!!
THIS FOOD is everything you would want when your dog needs a low protein diet. Of course I also cook REAL food for my Bella dog and mix it in: Steamed green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, cranberries, blueberries, butternut squash and a very small amount of ground turkey. I mix this dry food in and she absolutely loves it. Bella has metastatic Mast Cell tumors and was showing trace proteins in her kidneys. So her vet recommended low protein diet. This is VERY good stuff. I even give her a few pieces in between meals as a replacement to her other treats which were high in protein. What's more- you do not need a prescription to order this food. I highly recommend it.

Good product but wondering about FDA and KCA warnings.
Product used for an older dog with beginning renal disease. The dog likes the kibble which is amazing. Product is fine, but I am a little uneasy because peas are used an ingredient to the formula and the FDA and KCA are advising that legumes could be responsible for enlarged hearts in dogs.

Seems to be helping!
My dog had a normal urine test but she stilled smelled back there even after a bath. I tried everything. I finally changed her food to this kibble and the same brand of canned food. I give her a half of a can with about 1/2c. of the kibble and mix. She is 13 years old and after a month or more of being on this food, I can tell a definite difference! I will continue to use it because she even seems to be more energetic!

Disappointed
0/4 of my senior dogs would eat this food. The FORZA 10 was introduced by blending with the usual brand ,(Royal Canin dry renal support), that I buy from the vet. I was looking for a similar food that wasn't prescription. After reading many reviews, I took a chance on this, knowing it couldn't be returned. Turns out, the FORZA 10 was actually a little more expensive. My dogs ate all around this food, leaving it in the bowl. I then tried moistening the blend slightly with warm water. I couldn't fool them, as they just made a mess sorting through the pieces. After 3 days I gave up. I don't doubt the other reviewers who stated the FORZA 10 was loved by their dogs, but mine just weren't having it. Back to the vet to get Royal Canin. Lesson learned.

Life Saver!
Here’s my experience with Forza: My large 14 year old Red Heeler was suffering with cough and panting (CHF) for over a year and no prescription or homeopathic remedies worked for any length of time. He was miserable and neither of us was getting a good nights sleep. Finally I conceded that maybe it was the food I was feeding him - even though it was a good brand and he was getting eggs, cheese (to hide the meds), dinner topped with grass fed beef or organic chicken. I took him off all the above and gave him both the wet and dry versions of Forza. He was markedly better in about 5 days, now it is about a month and he only coughs once or twice a day, but nothing like it was before. He has more energy and thanks me daily. He enjoys this food and I had no difficulty in changing over. Thank you for saving my dog!
