Emsco Group 2230W Lightweight Saint Francis Garden Statue, 29", White

My wife wanted a statue of the virgin Mary for the outside. I ordered this one in the granite color. It stay inside the house for quite a while. She met a fellow at church whose daughter paints. She asked him, if she painted statues. He said he would ask his daughter. She said that she would painted and took it. When she returned it, she said not to pay her and that she painted it with love. Of course my wife paid her because she was very pleased and grateful. Then she hired a lawn man to fixed the lawn and asked if he could please set her outside. He said he would be glad to do it. He fixed it so that it would be anchored to the ground. He also said "do not pay me for that, I did it with love." My wife says that she is grateful that this virgin came to us and sent the right people at the right time so that she could sit outside protect our home. My wife has even seen cars stop and admire her. This has been a blessing and I hope that your home can be blessed with her as our has been. Salve Regina pray for us.

Very nice product! Here's a helpful suggestion… before filling the Lion with sand from underneath; first place a strong black yard bag into the lion, then fill the sand into the lion. And when finished, seal the bag, and then place the plastic cap on the bottom. This will keep the Lion clean and prevent the sand from leaking into the future.

This natural Emsco Group Virgin Mary Statue is the perfect addition to my yard. She is so natural and simply beautiful. I weighed her down with play sand and she is rock solid. I also sprayed her with "Rustoleum Ultra Cover Clear Gloss" to protect her from the elements. She is the perfect size for my yard and stands 32 inches in height. Each spring and summer I will put different flowers in front of her. Attached is a picture of her this year. She is simply lovely.

When I purchase any item I always consider the value. The quality in relation to the price. I always try to be fair and honest in my assessment. In this scenario of the Esco Greek Column the value was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I purchased three and had considered some more expensive ones. If you are budget conscious these are perfect.Each column holds exactly one bag (50lbs) of sand and makes them quite stable. The color is realistic and should be very durable. Delivery came in 48 hrs. as promised with Amazon Prime. I give this purchase 5 stars. Order this product with the utmost confidence. Highly recommended.

I was quite happy when this bench arrived in September 2020. Four months later...yuk! I live in California where the temperatures are quite mild and the rains infrequent. It didn't take long for the surface to scuff off and peel away. The bench is quite attractive and would probably be best used in a sheltered spot; not in the garden. :(

Lion GuardianHello everyone yall probably want to see pictures of details i tried. Im definitely purchasing again, I bought two. Check them out fill it in with your choice sand etc. Paint it as you please or leave as is.

This is just perfect for what I was looking for. I needed a bench or two with stone look, light weight and not too small for my new addition shade garden area and this works to a T. Very easy to assemble, and in 10 munites, I have both of them in my garden. Definitely will recommend. Thanks for making my garden look great. My neighbor across the fence got inspired to start a garden! I intend to get some statues from same seller as soon as I can.

First off - I want to explain that I bought this with some pretty high expectations.When I was a child there was church near my home that had a delightful garden grotto with a small statue of Mary. She was surrounded by azaleas, irises, lilies and such. It was cool in the shade and so peaceful - I used to go there by myself, sit on the grass and listen to the birds and leaves whisper. Pure tranquility.Fast forward 45 years to having a garden to putter and decide I need a statue of Mary and want it like the one I remember. Look high and low at statuary stores around me, catalogs and online. I compare stone, cement, resin and alabaster and price wasn't really the issue - it was the look.But then on Amazon, for a REALLY low price, I find this one - however - I wasn't crazy about it being plastic! Thinking what the heck - if it looks cheesy - I can send it back. I order it and a few days later - Mary is on my doorstep.Opened the box and was pleasantly surprised. The sandstone surface looked realistic - the texture was good, the color was accurate, the detail on the face was perfect - not to sharp, and nowhere did I see funky obvious seam lines that occur on most molded plastic items. Overall it looks realistic and appropriately weather worn.The only thing I thought was a little "too smooth" were the hands, that are attached separately to the main piece (they come well attached - no assembly required) and that's not very noticable. Overall look and quality is very good. Used a couple of pitchers of gravel & paving sand poured into the hole in the bottom. Placed on a leveled paver stone and she's in the garden standing upright with nary a tip or waiver.That was over 3 1/2 years ago and she looks as perfect today as then. She's been through heat - even a 104 degree summer, and cold in a 8 degree winter with ice and snow on her shoulders. She shows no signs of wear - no dings, cracks or chips in the shell or finish. She's had bunnies and birds - nothing has chewed on her that I can see. Small evergreen boughs have fallen on her but nothing made a scratch or dent. She stands as beautiful and tranquil as the day she arrived.I highly recommend this product. I didn't write a review sooner because I wanted to see how well she weathered. So far so good!
