I followed other reviews here and bought a 3X. Although that should have been a little too large by the size chart it still fit a little snug but OK. However there is a rubberized strip at the bottom of each leg. My thighs are not particularly large but this was very uncomfortable. I later bought a 5x pair which seemed only a little larger but was much more comfortable at the bottom of the legs. I may try removing the strip on the 3X pair.

It was really hard to judge for sizing. I wear a 40" jeans, an XL in shorts and I ended up ordering the 4X due to other comments.. and even those were tight. Not sure how the 5X would have fit since I decided to stick with the 4X.. These are one of the few such items that come in anything bigger than XL's since I am sure the original intent was for swimmers....but like compression shorts are used to help bigger guys thighs stop rubbing, I found these useful when I was going to spend most of the day at the beach and intended to walk a lot.

I've purchased three or four of these now as I swim every day. My most recent pair because I left my last pair hanging in the shower and somebody swiped them. I love these jammers. They fit as expected according to the size chart, they're comfortable, and I love that they come in fat guy sizes. I ordered my last set on Wednesday, received them on Friday with standard shipping. In all fairness, I'm only 40 miles from the company, but they shipped very quickly and they have each time I've ordered. In the interest of time, I wear these under my workout clothes prior to my swim, so they take a pretty good beating in the gym. I use them 5 days a week and my previous pair was ordered in October of 2015. Had they not been stolen, I'd still be using them. So they are durable. I can't say enough about these jammers.

Even after reading the reviews and ordering a size larger, a 3XL was still too small. They also have an extremely low rise - there was no way for it to cover my butt crack even pulled all the way up.

I'm a big guy and was trying to find something that did not have a baggy fit to wear under my scuba wetsuit. This stretches enough to wear, but could be bigger. I saw many reviews on similar products that said they ran small so I ordered one size up from what I wear, but should have gone larger.

4 stars because the inseam was shorter than expected but fit well.

Great workout suit - I have several; moderately priced so you don't have to worry about it wearing out - just buy another one. Swimming 10-20k a week in chlorine pools - rinsing out after a swim - lasts about six months.

Rides low in the back on my butt.I was hoping for a bit more in the length above the crouch, but this will do. Just have to remember to pull them up after I swim to keep my crack from showing.I like the suit overall and it is great for diving as the swim suit under a skin.
