so far so good
This was better than I'd expected. While I know, with dropping, the items could break, they worked properly upon arrival. My 7-yo grandson absolutely loved this. The flashlight could use more directions - like, there's a sliding object on the top of it and he finally figured out that it locked the thing that you squeeze to charge the flashlight. The flashlight is super bright. The whistle delightfully loud for the child using it - irritatingly loud in the house, but he loved it and it would be useful in emergent situations.I was originally only looking for a compass. The compass is really nice, as well. Looking forward to going on a "long explore" with this equipment. Could use more directions how to use it, but there was some brief info on the box. Thankful that you have this kit available.I wish it came in other colors. The girls want a pink and purple set. :)

Great Outdoor, even indoor toys for young children!!!
I ordered this something fun for my kids and planning to use our camping trip for fall season. That's what my family do. anyway, I didn't tell kids for this and as soon as I opened the box, my two little ones got excited. Even they said I use it for our camping trip.Price is right and the product is what I expected. I am excited to use it for our camping trip. I might buy one more kit for my other child.The flash light is the popular one from the kit at least in the house and the bag is very handy that we can put all the kits in there. At least my wife is happy that not scattered around the house after my kids played.Overall, this is good purchase for my kids.

Son loves it
I bought this for my son and immediately had to get one for my daughter. My son takes his kit everywhere with him! The kit comes with lots of fun items. The only problem we have had is that the flashlight got stuck in the on position but it really isn't too much of an issue because it is one of the manual charging flashlights so no need for batteries. This pack has kept my son entertained for hours. Can't wait to get the second one so my kids stop arguing of who gets to play with the items.

Healthy Outdoor Play
I am always looking for something to get the kids I teach away from electronics & to start appreciating nature & the world God has made. I took this to Bible Camp & used it with a group of children 3-7 years old. They were so excited to use the tools, especially in the creek area. The flashlight & the magnifying glass were the biggest hit! I loved the fluorescent colors for easy identification . It’s very durable & compact. Perfect for little hands! This will be the gift I’m choosing from now on for all my kids!

Good quality, solid set
My boys love this. It's a great set for the budding explorer, or children who love nature and all the wonderful creatures. It's got pretty much what you need and is definitely hard to beat for the price. I'm going to buy another as a gift aaaaand my boys haven't broken it yet(pretty pleased with that).

Great kit to get outside and spend time in nature.
I've purchased two of these as gifts for children of friends. There's value in the items purchased at it's price point. But, let's be real. It's an inexpensive exploration kit that has toys perfect for boys and girls alike. Where the real value lies is that it can bring your family much more. It's perfect for little ones who already enjoy adventure but it's also a great gift to inspire family time away from digital entertainment. It will open new avenues of learning and discussion. In a phrase: It has the potential to allow your family to make memories....

Flashlight button broke within half an hour
This kit is cool in concept and my 6 yr old twin boys enjoyed playing with it. However, the quality isn’t great. The flashlight was one of the main attractions for the boys but one of the flashlights’ on/off switch broke within half an hour of unpacking the kits. It was too much of a hassle to return everything for the flashlight, especially given the low price tag so I just kept it and bought separate flashlights. Not sure if I’d recommend it to others but maybe I just got a dud. Hope this helps.

Toxic odor extremely strong
Unfortunately due to extremely strong chemical odors this play set isn’t useable. Really truly reeks of toxic smell. Doesn’t seem it would be safe for children to use or in the case of the binoculars hold against their eyes.
