A REAL corner radius punch
Never mind those "craft quality" punches that get great reviews from people that have rounded 8 corners on 20# stock before saying how great it is. reviews and you'll find plenty of people who have discovered they're useless after a few dozen uses.I use this item on Exact Digital Color Copy 98 HD Hyper White Card Stock - 19 x 13 in 80 lb Cover Smooth stock. The corner rounder performs admirably on this 80# Cover stock. (Don't confuse this with 80# index or 80# anything else. This is a rugged and heavy stock) I can easily round three sheets at a time. I haven't tried more because a tool that is abused is not going to last. PERIOD.This is not going to be the same quality as the American Made products, and it's not going to perform neck and neck with a $1,600 electric corner rounder. This rounder fits my needs exactly, however. It's priced right. It's easy to use given the ample leverage it supplies. I'm confident I can round several thousand corners (4 per cover) before it will have to be serviced or replaced. It creates smooth rounded corners with positively no evidence of tearing. It's very compact, so it's easy to store and transport. When you're rounding corners, insert your stock with the flat sides of the 90º corner as flat as you can get it against the guides on each side, but THEN, look at where the actual corner (that you're about to round) it pointing in the die. Making sure the two sides are still as flat as you can get them, but also realizing this is not the truest measure of whether you're aligned properly, manipulate the tool and/or the stock so that the point on the corner is pointed right at the dead center of the back of the die. Do this and you will get perfectly rounded corners EVERY SINGLE TIME.If you're trying to hold a 20" x 30" piece of stock in your lap while petting the dog, lining up the tool and squeezing the handle, you're just not going to get very good results. Make sure you have a clear work surface large enough for the piece(s) you're working with, and pay attention to the alignment as I've outline above. This tool is not really designed to align itself much more than a pair of scissors are. If it were it would have at least 12" guides on both sides of the paper, making it more of a table-top unit or something sitting on ti's own stand. (And costing $1,600) Follow my advice and you'll get superb results.I sure do hope all the typing helps someone. We're all in this thing together, you know. :)

Better than the super cheap ones for laminated sheets, Leaves rough spot
I use my corner rounder to cut card stock, photo paper and laminated sheets and have struggled to find something that works for more than about 50 sheets of laminated sheets. I'd been using the little cheap (like $6) square ones, and they've all stopped working, started tearing up the edges, etc. This corner rounder seems much more heavy duty and has worked so far consistently on the laminate. I will update if it stops working over time like the others.4 stars because it does leave a minor rough spot in the laminate every time in the same spot (see photo). Not likely an issue if you aren't cutting laminated paper or if this detail of the aesthetic doesn't bother you :)

Works great
I bought this to round the corners of ATCs made from 300# watercolor paper. They work well but you need a lot of hand strength.

Disappointed. Ate up every corner..
Terrible. $40+ wasted. couldn't cut 80lb card stock. This thing is heavy, I really thought it would be perfect; I expected so much more.

This tool makes round corners easy and with precision. It is sturdy, tested and made to last. It can cut 200 lb. watercolor paper smoothly and beautifully, without any sharp angle leftover. Excellent product!

Need strong hands
This is great if you have strong hands for chipboard thickness. I do not and probably should have invested a little more for their lever model.
