I bought a total of four headphones and remote for my 2012 Yukon. They arrived quickly, zero setup or programming needed whatsoever, just add batteries and turned them on and the kids were set. (BTW, the item description says 4AAA batteries, they take 2 each.) No more listening to Spongebob on roadtrips, which is a huge plus for Dad. For essentially $17.50 each I'm not expecting studio-reference quality, but they are well-made and the kids had no complaints about volume level or sound quality even with Dad cranking the classic rock in the front speakers. The seller sent a very nice personal email and also offers a one-year warranty, which is a nice touch. I would order again from this seller without hesitation.

Update; These sit out in my truck at subzero temps and have for months now here in the arctic and still work good. Sometimes they work when the switch is on the wrong channel and sometimes they work when it’s on the right channel... interference maybe? These are perfect replacement sound nice

The headphones work great, the only issue is that they are not adjustable enough for kids. They do adjust, just not very much. The kids have to hole the headphones over their ears.

my Husband and I purchased a 2013 Suburban that was missing the original headphones. He researched and ordered these based on the number of 5 start reviews. We love the fact that they connected immediately and easily with our system. If you are purchasing for kids you are gonna have to get creative on adjusting them to fit. My Husband solved our problem with some colorful yarn that our kids do arts and crafts with! So now they fit them perfectly and are comfortable for them as well. We ordered a second pair, and recommended them to a friend who has a Suburban.

The headphones on the used Suburban I purchased were long gone, these brought the feature back at a reasonable price. Although we no longer schlep kids around, they have been used on long drives by back-seat adults and even successfully by my wife in the front passenger seat, where they are not guaranteed to work due to the placement of the infrared transmitter LEDs in the rear overhead.

These things weren’t very sturdy at all. Also it was just a whisper when using the XM radio or the DVD player. Very annoying.
