So I'm at my friend's wedding and a button bursts off of his (the groom's) rented tux. I busted out my LiLiSew Hand Sewing Kit and put his button back on. Everyone is impressed that a 20-something unmarried man has basic tailoring skills, and the wedding goes on.I hope this comes back in stock soon, because every man should be prepared to repair his friend's tux at any moment.

My daughter was given this kit - along with a sewing machine, material, and sewing lessons - for Christmas. Her lesson was a few days ago, so she finally got to use it. It's a perfect little kit for somebody just starting out, it had everything she needed for her class and even a few things she ended up using even though they weren't on her list. She did already break a needle threader, but those are so easy to break no matter where they came from.The only con I would say is the pins are slightly too long for the pin-cushion unless you put them only in certain places as certain angles. The cushion is a smaller, compact size so it will fit nicely in the pouch. I would suggest to the manufacturer to use shorter pins for this kit.

Got this for my 8 year old grand-daughter. She uses it all the time and carries it with her. She has learned to sew buttons, make several things out of felt, and fix her own ripped seams. I would recommend supervision until the child has grasped the idea of sewing and working with scissors and needles. It is a great little kit that comes with everything you need. Great for travel or emergencies.

This is a great little kit. I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter who has just begun expressing an interest in sewing projects. The kit is packed full of everything she needs to get started. I like that it zips up so she doesn't lose anything. I looked for a kit locally and nothing really compared to this one. Great product at a great price.

The company keeps bothering me with emails to leave feedback, and i told them it was premature cuz i have not used their kit yet, but they kept nagging so here it is: i have not used the kit yet but upon receiving it, my first impression holding it in my hand was wow, this feels exceedingly cheap, such that it cannot possibly serve any meaningful function; and even though it only cost 8 bucks it still may have been a waste of money that i want to return. Then, i opened the zipper, and tiny spools of thread started falling out all over the place and onto the ground...so i gathered the spools, put them back in the container, and put the kit in my vehicle, all the while feeling less than intelligent for making such a purchase...maybe that will change in time but that was my initial impression/experience with this product..

Very satisfied. Excellent resource for my sewing project. Im using the kit to make appillow. And sharpen my sewing skills. This kit has everything in it. Thread, needles, in safe container, pins, buttons, cushion, scissors, and much more. I would highly recommend this product. It would be very useful to anyone that desireTo sew.

it is perfect as, you who don't do a lot of sewing and only need to replace a button or put a small stich in from time to time. it is small but compact, no worry about where to store it. living in a small apartment this is ideal. my Li ilsew Hand Sewing Kit

The item looks like the picture and it maybe smaller than you think but, my scissors were super dull! Also the needles they give you are poorer quality than the average sewing needle and a lot are them were the same sizes, other than that the kit is well designed and compact.
