Premium Popcorn 4 Ounce Portion Packs- Bulk Pack of Gourmet Movie Theater Style Popcorn by Superior Popcorn (12 Pack)

I used this in my Stir Crazy, and the popcorn was tough and chewy (yes, the black top lid was off the whole time). There was also about 3x more old maids than I get with Orville Redenbacher. I'm throwing away the rest of the packages.I was looking for a quick and easy way to make a batch, but am going back to what works best for quality. I typically use 5 oz (3/4C - 2Tbsp = 5 oz) of Orville Redenbacher, a couple tablespoons of coconut oil, and 1/2 tsp Flavacol (http://www.amazon.com/Gold-Medal-Prod-Flavacol-Seasoning/dp/B004W8LT10). Let the coconut oil melt with the Flavacol in it, and let the oil get very hot, then add the popcorn. Flavocol and coconut oil is what gives "theater popcorn" that unique flavor. Using your own ingredients is also cheaper than this package, and makes more (fills a Stir Crazy popper).This stuff is low quality popcorn, and they add yellow coloring to the coconut oil to turn the popcorn yellowish. Do the math. Flavacol is less than 3 cents per serving. Orville still makes the crispest, most tender popcorn (about 6 poppers full per jar), and coconut oil is less than 0.50 per measured oz. So a buck or less per full popper (again, this product does not fill a Stir Crazy popper). For a treat, add a little (real) melted butter and real parmesan cheese.

I ordered this popcorn last week and can honestly say my kids love it. I have made popcorn everyday for them. I like being able to control how less or more salt I want. I know some other companies have the salt mixed in with the popcorn, the salt is separate with these packs. I did take a chance on ordering this because I didn't see any other reviews but wanted to try it since it was 12 packs for $14.95. It doesn't taste stale or old. The box I have expires on 3/5/2016 . I will order more in the future!

Taste is very nice, but didn't pop as well as I would like the first time. I tried again, and didn't add the flavoring until after it had popped.. That worked much better, other than being a little too salty, so next try I'm going to reduce the amount of flavoring. All in all, with some slight adjustments, I'd give it a thumbs up.

We have a large commercial style popcorn machine (the type on wheels) and I was looking for a great tasting popcorn that would work with my machine. This was exactly what I was looking for. My son loves popcorn, and enjoys watching it pop out of the tray at the top.The taste is amazing and just as easy to use.I would buy this again...and will...when I run out!

Easy to make and really delicious. Lots of salty buttery flavor. Can be used in the commercial style popcorn maker -or- a regular air popper, on the stove top, etc. They put the directions for each use right on the bag. Will be ordering more when we run out!

We've tried several brands of pre-portioned popcorn in our Whirley Pop, this is by far the best one. Tastes the most like movie theater of the ones we've tried so far. Still not EXACTLY the same, but really, really close....

This popcorn is great! Works really well in my counter top 2 oz Nostalgia popcorn machine, I just divide the package contents in half and make 2 batches out of one package. More than enough pops up for my husband and myself, and the aroma is just like at the movies... Great product!

There's a bit too much salt in the pre measured packs, but using just a bit less is perfection. I Love the ease and convenience of the individual packs. Tastes great!
