A touch of Art Deco / Art Nouveau...
Beautyful design , very well made, perfect to the last detail. Excellent Nib, writes well. The style of this fountain pen has distinct touch of Art Deco and Art Nouveau. The Bamboo couloured as Maple is quite beautiful und manufactured to a high standard. This and a modern finish makes this pen stand out. Is very light, you won't get tired. This Pen is a beautiful Gift for anybody or yourself! Price is more than fair for such a piece! Highly recommended! Now, I will order the BALLPOINT-Version of this pen...

Beautiful and writes well
From the moment use open the box it is elegant luxury. From its cherry wood box though to the usually mundane cartridge. As you can see it also comes with a cartridge converter (normally sold separately). Writes better and better quality than £100+ pen I once owned.Really is better than I ever expected

A gorgeous pen!
I don’t very often write reviews but after using this pen I felt I had to, not only because of the quality of the pen itself but because of the fantastic customer service at Wordsworth & Black.Firstly, the pen is just really nice to look at (see picture). The box is nice although I do wish it “snapped” shut with some form of magnet or at least some sort of clasp. Saying that, as a box that would sit on a desk it is perfect.Secondly, the pen writes like a dream. It has a really nice weight to it and I haven’t noticed any bleed on the back of the paper I am writing on which is mostly 80gsm. The ink flow is constant, which means I’m not going over what I’ve written again. The ink does struggle to write over laser printed paper, eg, I have lists that I have to tick off, if the box is printed tell, the ink doesn’t stick as well, but no problem - I have a back up pen for such menial tasks!Unfortunately, I did have to contact customer services as the lid had stopped clicking on securely. I had asked for a new lid but they sent me a complete new pen with no requirement to send back the defective one (which is good because I have grown quite attached to the pen in such a short space of time), so now I have spare parts!Even with the lid issue I can’t give any less than 5 stars.

WORDSWORTH & BLACK Fountain pen
A loverly pen with beautiful wood. I have a fine nib, which I really like and this suites my handwriting. Nice flow of ink, you may prefer a medium nib, but the quality of the pen, is what actually counts.

great value for money
Love this pen - non standard cartridges but so far easy enough to find online. Writes very well and great value for money (possible to spend far more on similar quality pen...)

As Attractive as It is Good
This is a nicely designed pen. It has a nice appearance and finish. It is lightweight but not too light and it is nicely balanced. I was a bit hesitant ordering the extra fine nib version as some EF nibs can be a bit scratchy. This one performs well but writes more like an F nib than an EF.Would I buy another? Yes, I would. I'm pleased with my purchase.

A fantastic everyday pen.
I seldom write reviews on the products bought from Amazon, but I simply could not resist! I have bought numerous entry level fountain pens from Amazon; many which have ended up leading to disappointment. Whilst I understand that the price range is on the low side, many of the pens that I have bought previously in this price range do not exude the craftsmanship, care and attention which both the product and packaging have for this pen. I have consistently used replaceable pilot pens for daily use, but I am very glad that I have now found a re-usable fountain pen, that I can use for my daily scrawl. Robust, neat, tidy and effortless flow spring to mind when I review this product. I would love to write a review to confirm the durability of the pen, but this will have to come, once I have used the pen for daily use.

Not quite what I expected
Once upon a time, a "name" on something meant high quality. Not sure what is going on with Wordsworth, but this pen is a bit of a disappointment. Now, don't get me wrong, it is attractive, the wood barrel and cap are finished beautifully and it is all smooth and clean. The brass pieces fit snugly and don't move. In that respect this is a really nice pen.Until you take the cap off.The plastic part of the pen is about as cheap as you can get, badly moulded with a mould ridge where the two pieces clamp together. This does help the plastic part hold in on the wood barrel but ideally it should not be there. I have cheap pens made from better plastic than this. In addition, the plastic feels thin and fragile and is well, it's just not nice. It even feels cheap and nasty. Like something you would expect from a 1970s hong kong knock off. The nib on the pen similarly feels thin and cheap. All together this gives the pen a hobby blank home made aura. Not what I expect for the name and price. Then we get to the interior. This pen is provided with a cartridge replacement unit - basically a plunger ink tube. This also feels like cheap crappy plastic, and does not instil confidence that it has any kind of life-span, and may break at any moment. Rather than clicking home firmly into the bottom of the pen, it sort of grinds in and wibbles around a bit.If I had bought this as a gift for somebody I would be more disappointed and - if left to this as a judgement - would never buy another Wordsworth pen. I find this unfortunate as the two other pens that I did buy as gifts are beautifully made with quality parts. As I mention, this feels like a hobby shop blank that somebody just getting into lathe turning would make. It really does, same plastic and parts that one can expect from 50 for a fiver blanks.Very disappointed that a respected name in pens has put their title to this, and I would not recommend it to anybody. There are better cheap Chinese pens out there. I have yet to add a cartridge to this, or try out the plunger replacement. My concern is that the bottom of the pen - the nib part - is going to fracture, crack or leak if I make the effort.A great shame, because this is an attractive pen, it looks beautiful when you open the box and the box itself is rather attractive as well. Perhaps I should just put it in the cupboard as an ornament...Not what I expected, and not as nice as I hoped. In my opinion, this is overpriced for what it is.

Nice pen for the money
I recently got this and I gotta say, it's pretty cool. It's made of bamboo wood and feels a bit heavy, but that actually makes it feel kinda fancy and solid. Writing with it is super smooth. I was worried about dealing with ink, but it comes with 6 cartridges that are really easy to pop in, so no mess there. Plus, there’s this converter thingy if you wanna use bottled ink instead. The pen writes really well, like it just flows without having to press down hard or anything. It’s great for my journaling and I even tried a bit of drawing. The weight took a little getting used to, but now I kinda like the heft to it.In the box, it looks nice enough to give as a gift, so that’s a bonus. If you're into writing the old-school way or wanna try it out, this pen set is a solid choice. Just be ready for it to feel a bit heavier than your usual pen.

Wordsworth & Black's Fountain Pen Set, Luxury Bamboo Wood
I purchased two of these fountain pens and I must say, I really like them for writing or priniting, the ink flows very smoothly and they are comfortable to hold and have some weight to them. I remember fountain pens from many days gone by and I must say they did a nice job of manufacturing these. The only draw back I have is that the ink does and/or may bleach through to the next page, so be careful and have something underneath the page you are writing on. I was printing on a calendar on my desk and I put a thin piece of cardboard under the page I was writing on and no problems. Very nice stylish pen. Did I mention that I bought two of them because I liked the first one so much ... I guess I did!

Regalo

Die Farbe "Kirsch-Holz" erinnert an warmes orange, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt. Das Holzetui hat die gleiche Farbe. Dieser Füller ist bereits mein 2. Füller des gleichen Herstellers - und ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
