Microsoft Surface Pro 3 1631 V1.1 Replacement Screen Assembly contains a touch layer (the digitizer) and the display layer (the LCD/LED panel or screen). This listing is for the digitizer and LCD. The procedure to replace the digitizer & LCD can be complex. Please make sure you are qualified to do it or can take it to a technician.

Works and fits, but digitizer has to be repeatedly recalibrated.
I was pleased with the product upon installing it. It looks good (better than the original in fact, which had a defect in color near the middle). But with use it stops working because the digitizer calibration drifts. When I use it for more than 30 minutes, it gets dead spots where it can can't sense a touch, which is awkward, and then it starts getting phantom touches which means it takes finger sweeps as two-finger moves to zoom the page. Finally, it starts sensing phantom taps which makes the tablet unusable because it keeps clicking menus and commands I don't want to click. Searching the internet, I found a calibration utility posted on a Sony site. The utility is called Calib64.exe, and the file properties say it came from N-trig LTD, which someone online suggested was the manufacturer of the panel. I created a shortcut for the program in my start menu folder and then added it to my Widows start menu. Whenever the screen malfunctions, I run that. It takes about ten seconds and gets the screen working again. It's a tolerable workaround for me, and less hassle than attempting to return the screen. Still you should just know the touchscreen I received doesn't hold calibration as well as the original equipment did.
