I just installed this seat. Very straight forward, goes on very easy. I actually had the mount on mine from the previous owner. When you sit in this thing, it's the most comfortable thing you've ever sat in. It puts you right where you need to be (I'm 6'2 and 200 lbs) on a sportster. The little butt stopper (the raised area in the back) really puts you in the seat. It's got plenty of cushion too. They say these things break in after 1000 miles and get very comfy. It's so great to begin with that I can't imagine after 1000 miles when it's conformed to my butt.I highly recommend it. WIth the 883, the wide seat pretty much goes right to the ends of the battery cover and oil tank, so it doesn't bleed over the area. It's nice and flush with the bike. Looks rather nice actually.

This seat was the best investment ever. The stock seat on 2019 HD 48 was terrible for longer rides. I’d also slide back when opening up the throttle. This seat was a game changer for sure. Extremely comfortable and the lower back support is amazing. I’ve been a few hour rides and this seat is fantastic. Highly recommend.

As described by seller.. it would fit my motorcycle. Well if you look the top seat is mine and has the hole on side right. Mustang seat I bought does not have hole for seat in right spot. And you can't move the peg to fit this seat. So spent over 250 dollars for nothing. Not happy!

Shaped far better then the stock seat, which helps it to feel far more comfortable. I have only put on a couple of 100 miles only on it so far, so still waiting for the breakin after 1000 miles everyone talks about. Note it does change the seating position a little, took me a short ride or two to get used to it.

I had bought a Mustang seat for my husband's bike earlier this year so I knew the quality would be good. He loves his. My stock seat had almost no cushioning left and this will make my upcoming road trip much more pleasant. I will try to remember to update my review afterwards.

The seat is great. Way better than the original seat that comes with my 883 sportster. I had back pain after riding with the OEM seat and those went away after installing this seat. Great product.

I have this seat on a 2008, 1200XL Sportster Nightster with forward controls and highway pegs. Initially, I didn't like how wide this saddle looked on the bike (see top view photo). But (or butt) I do like the comfort despite the appearance. It rides about 2in higher so be ready to adjust your mirrors and possibly a slight discomfort at stop lights depending on your height. I'm 5'7 with about 32in inseam so waiting at stops isn't very comfortable due to the wide seat. Scooting up helps but sliding forward and then back into to bucket gets annoying for stop and go traffic. Ultimately, I spend much less time stopped than riding so it's an acceptable annoyance. I do like the higher "bucket" feel, especially at higher speeds. Also, my previous one-up saddle had a hole/rip, was ready to retire, and my wife doesn't ride with me anymore. Therefore it was time for a solo seat. Overall, the comfort of this seat is definitely worth it.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and have been riding ever since. My Stock seat on my Sportster Iron 883 was horrible. I couldn't ride for 30 minutes with out having to stop to rest my cheeks. Once I installed the Mustang Wide Touring Vintage Solo seat on my Iron I haven't had to stop yet. I will say that it does sit you up an inch or 2 higher but I like it that way. I highley recommend that this be the first thing you purchase for your bike. They delivered the seat on time and in great shape. The instalation was so easy that anyone can do it.
