Produced for an American readership and thus just a bit twee for us Brits. The designs were all relatively simple and had nothing that I hadn't seen from free websites. Each example had the instructions, the template and the motifs (the latter needing to b colour photocopied) were in separate places in the book which didn't make for easy working. In my view, a waste of money. I'll give it to a charity shop.

I guess I was expecting more general designs. There were too many that were for "milestones or occasions". The designs were certainly very nice, however. I was looking for something different. A bit more preview would have led me to another book.

If you only attempted a fraction of the ideas in this book, you could have hours of fun and amaze and delight your friends. My 12 year old niece spends hours making things and I'm sure she'll love this book as much as I would have done at her age.
