Only had these for a week now, but they're very bright! Purchased these to replace an existing burnt out reverse light on my '17 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Was a little hesitant at first with the length of these, but they fit fine. Super simple to replace in a jeep. Under 5 min install with nothing by a phillips head screwdriver! The "projector" glass really helps spread the light. HUGE improvement over the stock lights, and since seeing behind you is hard enough in a Jeep, might as well help mitigate that problem some with some brighter lights. Great product when they are functional. About a 6 weeks after I installed them, one failed. I've checked continuity on both and found the faulty one has none, so whatever the issue may be, it is no longer functional. Needless to say, I am disappointed that one "burned out" in less than 2 months.Update - I reached out to the seller on their website about a RMA for the failed LED bulb under the 1 year warranty. After waiting a week for a reply, nothing has been received. At this point, I believe it's hit or miss on receiving a working pair of LED bulbs and a miss on getting any customer support. I would recommend searching elsewhere for LED backup bulbs for your vehicle.

This is the second truck I've used JDM ASTAR bulbs for reverse lamps. I owned my 92 Chevrolet for 25 years. My garage is 3" wider than my old truck. The extra bright bulbs were a HUGE asset when I backed my truck in. I was able to see enough to carefully back in except when the sun was at just the wrong angle. Once I added the ASTAR LED bulbs I never replaced bulbs again!. Unfortunately I forgot to pull the awesome bulbs when I sold my truck. I ordered replacements.This is the third time I ordered replacement LED lights for my new truck! Other vendors advertise their bulbs fit. They didn't. Amazon helped me get a full refund when I demonstrated false advertising. I should have saved time and frustration and ordered these in the first place.Notice the difference in lighting. You can clearly see details on the left side of the truck on the street. I have the LED on the left side. Don't worry, I ordered two bulbs. This photo was taken just to illustrate the difference.

I swapped out my halogen reverse lights on my 2015 F150 with these and it made a huge difference. At night, It almost appears like daytime in my backup camera when I backup now. Crazy Bright! 60th Anniversary Corvette Grand Sport! I'm buying more for my truck! You may have read some of my other reviews. I'm going to make this short and let the photo (I risked my life to take with the Corvette in REVERSE)! Left is the JDM ASTAR and Right is the Factory reverse light. The middle is my finger covering my license plate. After trying other bulbs... THESE ARE THE BEST at any price point that I've tried. I'm ASE Certified for decades. I know quality. Not JUST a value... The BEST as of today. Of course technology and prices change but I'm betting that these will provide many years of safety and satisfaction.

Installed these in my 1998 Grand Cherokee for rear backup lights. I needed to do something about the dangerously dim 3057 bulbs when backing down a dark driveway at night. As you can see in the pics it was awful before. After installation is literally night and day.

Very impressed with the light output, the distance it throws light, and the color. I just recently started to change my lights on my 2004 Silverado over to LED. I had a reverse light out so it was good timing to switch these over to LED. After exchanging the bulbs I wanted to make sure it worked before I plug it into the housing. Wow sooo bright. Now it’s time to do the brake lights, signals, and running lights.Update 10/14/19 - very disappointing. One light stopped working already. And of course it’s past the window to return it. I do not recommend.

Installed in place of standard backup lights but one did not work despite turning 180 in case of polarity sensitivity but still nothing.Contacted seller and they sent replacement but when installed shorted out completely,Replaced fuse installed original bulbs and everything works fine.Went to return but was requested to pay $5.99 shipping and site would not let me print a return label. More time spent than they are worth, Almost $40.00 went to China and 4 LEDs. In The trash, I’ve got bad LEDs before but have never been charged for or have a problem returning anything until this purchase.

Installed these in my 2007 Avalanche to illuminate behind me when i shift into reverse at night. When i installed them they worked great and looked amazing, they were very bright and illuminated the road very well behind me. They appeared to be very good quality out of the package but it wasn't until the 2 month mark is when they stop working. I didn't notice it until a co-worker of mine told me, i usually check as they come on when i unlock my truck at night.but guess i never noticed. I looked at my fuse and it appeared fine. It didn't occur to me it was a bulb because it only has been 2 months the bulb was installed and they rarely come on. I check the bulb and looked fine, i switched them around as it has a positive and negative and still never worked. I had my old factory halogen bulbs and threw one in and "Light bulb" it illuminates. Checked the other side and worked as well. I just new it wasn't the vehicle it was these cheap LED lights. They look and function great for the first "XX" amount of weeks but after long period of time they are complete garbage. Just wasted $40 for bulbs i have siting on my desk doing nothing. Complete waste of time and money, could have bought better.

Tossed these bad boys in for reverse lights as I have a very long driveway which I back into every night. These project and illuminate my driveway better than I had even hoped. Super bright, way better than factory and makes it much much safer/easier for me to park my truck at night.I've had them in my reverse lights for over a year now here in B.C Canada. They have seen anywhere from +36-38 degrees Celsius to -30 degrees Celsius and have never flickered dimmed or acted weird. Very good lights.

Kept blowing fuses when I put them in at first. Realized they're wired differently than the bulb they're designed to replace. After I figured that out, cut one of the leads, replaced the fuses and reinstalled they worked great.....for about 3 months. After that they turned into disco lights. One first then the other shortly afterwards. Flickering and flashing, some LED's on others not. Will certainly not buy them again. Wish somebody would make a real direct led replacement for the 3157 that can handle both the low and high DRL and signal light outputs, doesn't change the flasher rate when signalling, is bright (These were that for sure. Beautiful when they worked), and mainly.....Lasts. The build on these looks great but they fail so quickly. Electronics and led's used in it are junk.

I used these to replace the stock reverse lights on a 09-13 GMC/Chevy 1500. I found it difficult to reverse into dark low light areas with the tinted windows. These have drastically improved this problem. I would highly recommend these to anyone.The only issue I had was reverse polarity well installing. Spun it around and had no issue.

Brightest LED ive ever seen or used for the application. Ive had them in my car for a year and I love them. Super bright, and worked so far without fail. Now to upgrade my truck :p
