Diono 2019 Radian 3R All-in-One Convertible Car Seat, Black, 22 Count (Discontinued by manufacturer)

I cart 3 grandsons around in my new car. Due to the design of the seats and the placement of the seatbelts, 3 car seats don't fit as well in the new car's "wider" back seat compared to my old car. I bought this seat because it is the narrowest on the market. It wasn't cheap. But it wasn't the most expensive on the market either.First, no lie. It's HEAVY. The instruction manual is tiny - with tiny writing. This is a car seat that you want to install and then leave it be. For a long time. Like until you sell the car or the kid can no longer fit into it. So, it's probably not the most ideal carseat for a "Grandma car", but like I said, I needed it for the size.Installing it can be a bit tricky too. But, many carseats can require a lot of effort, bodily contortion or both. The instructions are straightforward, and if needed, you can find videos online to aid the process.My grandson likes it. He can climb in and out easily which is a huge plus. We are still currently using the 5-point harness, but I'm happy that this can transition to a booster seat when he becomes more trustworthy.My takeaway is that it's a sturdy, well-built carseat. I'm sure it will give me years of dependable service. I just wish it was a little bit more manageable with an easier in and out.

We bought this car seat enable us to fit three car seats in the back seat of our Prius v. This car seat is a great forward facing car seat for older toddlers. Our 45 lbs 3 yr old sits in the center in this diono with his 20 month old sister on one side in a cosco scenera (17” wide, 40 lbs max weight) and his newborn brother on the other side in a graco snug ride infant bucket seat (both rear facing). This diono is much easier to nest next to other car seats because of the low arm rests. It’s also 17” wide, much smaller compared to the 21” width of his old car seat (graco slim fit). I don’t love how heavy it is and we will miss having cup holders but this combination of seats installed more securely, and safety is our priority.

This car seat is perfect for traveling. We specifically got this car seat to have our toddler sit in while in flight, then use in the rental car. It folds up making it really easy to get on and off a plane (should also note it’s an approved flight car seat). It seems very sturdy and safe.My only cons are the weight and comfort. This car seat is HEAVY! I highly recommend buying the matching car seat carrier cover. It fits like a glove and makes hauling this brick house around a little easier. Also, it’s not really a car seat my toddler can get comfortable in. She seems to struggle getting in the comfort spot to fall asleep. There’s not much on the sides to support their head to lay down so that’s most of the issue.All in all though we’re very happy with this purchase so far!

I drive a 2013 Hyundai santa fe sport with 3 kids under the age of 9 always in tow. The youngest 2 are still in car seats. My cars backseat isnt the biggest and the middle seat is on the smaller side. I had to find a car seat to fit in the middle so my older 2 could sit comfortably on the side seats as they were getting bigger. I was amazed when I took out his evenflo chase car seat and slid this one into place. It fits perfectly in the middle and I am beyond happy about it. The car sets itself seems great so far. Very cushiony and so slim. My main review was for how slim and easy it fit in my car. When I was looking for a new carseat that was what I looked for in the reviews.

My oldest daughter was ready to transition to a booster seat but she couldn’t buckle it with the regular seat belt because it was so crammed in the backseat with 3 car seats. So I had to slide the booster over, buckle her, and then slide the booster seat back every time we got in the car. These are perfect. They cost more than I wanted to spend but they’re good up to 100 pounds so I’ll never have to buy another seat again. These fit perfect with a regular rear facing car seat in the middle. That’s an extra for babysitting/play dates so I don’t intend on buying a third. But I f I had 3 kids I definitely would!

I received 2 different versions of this carseat even though I wanted the same ones (Although not much different, one just comes with an infant insert). It still works, they're a lot more sturdy than our safety 1st carseats. I needed to make room for a 3rd baby coming soon and I've managed to do just that. I'm very pleased that we dont have to rush out and purchase another vehicle. It's always nice to have companies think of parents with multiple children.

I cannot believe we used any other seat before this one! We waited until our third child to spring for a Diono and I’m sad we won’t be able to use this brand longer.Installation was easy and it feels very secure. The padding in the seat is so amazing, I am a little jealous that my own seat is not made out of it.Once we upgraded from my sons infant seat to this, he rides much more comfortably and sleeps well on longer car trips. Shortly after installing, when my son was 9 months old, we took a 14 day road trip and my son and the seat held up wonderfully!

So let me tell y’all I had the most ridiculous time trying to find car seats that I liked the look of and would fit 3 across be safe and comfortable I recently got into a 2019 Honda CR-V and have a third on the way so I decided to go with Diono and I’m so excited to say these look cute feel sturdy and my two toddlers love the 3r and I also got the. 3rx for the new baby installation wasn’t too bad either but for Honda CR-V the latch system sucks so I chose to use the belt with all 3

If you have a small car the front seat this sits behind will be useless.... Unless you are short :)But we love this car seat and once this is forward facing there will be lots of space.

I like how narrow this seat is. Great to use with other carseats in a vehicle.

El asiento en general esta excelente como todo lo Diono. Lo que no me gusto es que no tiene donde apoyar la cabecita mi niño si se queda dormido.
