Nerf DogBarbell Chew Dog Toy, Large, Red Medium

I thought i was buying the squeaky version so that’s my fault. But this version is too heavy for my 55 lbs dog. He likes to carry it by the ends but it always falls out of his mouth when he tries to run with it.

We bought this because other Nerf Chew Toys we had in the past lasted. In particular this Nerf Squeaky Football  Nerf Dog Ridged Squeaker Football However, this barbell chew toy barely lasted a day.So Note to folks who's dog is a powerful chewer, this toy is not for you.

This is great for medium to large Dogs and ones that love to chew. I buy these for my yellow lab grandpup. He loves his toy.

I bit too heavy for my medium sized pup. It does seem to be durable but she wouldn't play with it at all because of the weight. She's a bit of a picky princess though so it may work well for larger dogs. The rubber smell is a bit strong but does dissipate with time.

This is a well-made toy for dogs that will undoubtedly last a long time. It is a bit heavy and is best for large dogs, such as our Golden Retriever.

My dog is an 'aggressive chewer'. He doesn't chew on things that aren't his, but his toys he completely obliterates. This bone is the only toy he can't destroy! We had a blue one and he lost it in the field so we had to get him anotger one. He loves it! He takes it with him everywhere! And I love that im not picking up pieces of chewed up toy and having to buy a new chew toy every couple days. Works well for playing fetch! Great dog toy! Definitely worth the money!!

We received our amazon order today. We got the Nerf barbell and the West Paw Zogoflex hurley. It has been 20 minutes since I gave my 13 month old Labrador retriever both toys and he already chewed up the Nerf one, the West Paw still intact. Money right to the garbage.

Awesome toy for a dog that isn't an aggressive chewer. I bought two- one for my dog and one as a christmas gift. My dog decimated hers in a hour or supervised play, the other I gave to my brothers dog and its proved to have some serious staying power- easy to clean, the little bit of weight helps tucker his pup out while fetching, and its been a great toy. Terrible toy for aggressive chewers, great fetch toy for dogs that aren't known toy killers.

This is very heavy and feels solid however our 11 week old German Shepherd puppy is still managing to chew tiny bits of rubber off this so can only have it whilst supervised which is a shame as we bought it to keep her amused while we were out. She does enjoy playing with it and carrying it around in her mouth.

Our dog destroys every toy, so well worth spending the money on this one - he still has it 6 months later! He has managed to chew some of it off but he's still playing with it and it's in good condition. Can't fault this product. Would buy it again any day!

Purchased for my 4yr old female german shephard, she isnt a chewer, so toys dont get destroyed, I wanted something she could retrieve when thrown, thats a good size & weighty. After a few weeks use its as new condition.so very happy.

First toy my Staffordshire bull terriers have not been able to destroy.
