Acer E5 553G is for those people who are on tight budget. It's having amd a10-9600p APU Which comprises of 4 cpu cores + 6 graphics cores. The cpu is quad core processor without hyperthreading. Product delivery was on time by seller and packaging was great.I am liking this laptop as the general performance is good enough. Drawback is it's got only 4 gigs of ddr4 ram. So, multitasking is little slow.Another con is that USB 3.0 ports from windows 10 do not work in native speed. They work in USB 2.0 mode. This is a driver issue.This Acer laptop has got AMD DUAL GRAPHICS comprised of Amd Radeon r5 which shares system ram and Amd r8 m445dx which has dedicated vram of 2gb. You need to install Amd crimson graphics driver to fully utilize the dual graphics technology which is also called explicit multi-adapter. Finally, it supports DIRECTX12 API for games.Haven't tested gaming yet, I am about to do some light gaming once I upgrade RAM. overall, a great budget Team Red Machine!Edit : I have upgraded RAM In dual channel with two 8gb's and am experiencing beastly performance with 16 gigs of ram. Played sniper ghost warrior, fifa 14 in medium - high settings. Even played SOMA in low - mid optimal settings. Amd Radeon works in dual gpu mode in this laptop in form of Radeon r8 m445dx.Make sure you buy great cooling pad to reduce laptop temperature.Final note : this Acer amd laptop is fantastic for everyday usage. However, you need to increase ram from 4 gb to 8gb/16gb for best performance!

I have bought this laptop two times in the last 2 years. Everytime I have seen the Ram is shown as DDR3 but everytime it came as DDR4. Not like I have a problem with a DDR4 ram infact it is better. But. Not good when you buy the laptop and Ram at the same time and expect to get a DDR3 laptop but get a DDR4 Ram laptop, while the Ram you have bought is DDR3 -_- Now I have to spend days on return and refund.
