DONT BUY THIS. I own a restaurant and we have many flies fly in during the course of the day during this time of year. Anyway, i got this because it appeared to have loads of good reviews but now they dont appear to be there. However, this item does not attract flies. Even in a dark room. The fact that this uses LED lights means that they only emit a blue light and NOT A FREQUENCY. The frequency is required to attract insects which you get from neon bulbs so this item is pointless! The instruction are written in the worst english possible and many of the comments are quite funny; advising me to clean out dead pets, check the wine, and only to be done by a skilled man! ha ha.This is obviously a very cheap item from china which this seller is trying to sell to people for a much higher rate. Infact, as per my picture.... this item can be brought for about $8 from china. AVOID!

I purchased four ForTech Fly Zappers and they seem to handle my moth problems just fine.I set them up in several rooms at my home along with conventional fluorescent tube bug zappers that I purchased previously.My observations on these LED zappers vs. my Fluorescent tube zappers:o The Fluorescent tube units are at least twice as bright as these LED units.o As measured with a Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug, the LED units consume less the 2 watts vs 22 watts for the fluorescent units.o Have no way to measure the wavelength of the blue light emitted, my opinion is that the moths have a preference for the brighter fluorescent units.o Either type kills moths.

I gave this only 2 stars because the electrical grid wires should all have a uniform silvery / chrome-like finish. The grid on mine has numerous either corroded or improperly finished areas. Whether this will affect its effectiveness in killing insects is yet to be seen. I am not returning it because it would be more hassle than its worth. I chose it because: 1. it uses LED lights; 2. its design is almost identical to one I have successfully used for the last 2 yrs; 3. and the price was attractive. Possibly I will update this if I find additional quality issues. BTW I had already ordered a second one before I noticed the grid defects. I will check to see if it has the same quality issues. 3/31/19 update: 2nd zapper had same grid defects as first one.

I plugged it in and it didn't light up. The instructions were minimal and I'm good with equipment so I'm sure this one didn't work. I went back to the web page from which I ordered it and there were 123 very positive reviews. Then I went to the current web page and there was only one review which said it was a fake. I can only say it didn't turn on at all. There were stickers on the box changing the description. And looking at the old reviews they were all from "Amazon Customer" so I think the reviews were fake. There is a good chance that there are no LEDs in this thing. I didn't take it apart. I just sent it back.I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and this is the first time I've been duped.

The way my family comes in and out of this house this works really good on flies love it I hate flies

I like this electric light make the mosquito and insects go away. The whole family feels better now ,no more fly!!

It was very inexpensive and it did its job and still does its job and that's pretty much all I got to say it works very well

Purchased in Marrch and does not work. Not worth the money
