Surprised
Reading other reviews, I wasn't very hopeful about how it'd be. I thought that at least if get a magnifying glass and something of a PCB holder for my soldering. I was managing without one so far and thought it might at least help a little. But I was pleasantly surprised by both it's quality and uselessness! Hence 5 stars from me!The magnifying glass is of good quality/ size and magnification is perfect for small PCB, add to that the two extra small lenses which help zoom in further onto smaller parts. The base is quite heavy and I'm not facing base stability issues and if you use batteries for the lights, I suspect it will get heavier and sturdier. Of course, a bit of masking tape can help keep it from slipping if you're into heavier work. The light was something I didn't notice in the listing, so was very pleased with that as well. Adequately bright and on flexible arm. Best part is it comes with plug adapter for it or you could also use batteries. The cable is a bit short but then again, batteries can be used when far from a wall socket. What I would be suspicious of is the coil shaped soldering iron holder. I'm no big fan of any coil shaped iron holder.... Even the stand alone ones are junk. I use my own DIY stand for it, so haven't used that and might take it off the stand altogether. They are really too cumbersome to use and don't fit with all soldering irons. And I think it will be in the way being that close to the PCB holder/ lens. Also, it might compromise the stability of the stand altogether. But I think double sided tape should help with that if you DO want to use it.So all in all, plastic/ metal parts are good quality, sturdy and in one day of use, have really helped with my pcb soldering.... Should have got it earlier but was put off by all the bad reviews. Perhaps being a Chinese product, quality may not be consistent among different units, but mine is perfect.

Just an okay product
Its too small, useful for any small class students trying to learn soldering, not for professionals, poor build quality, it will easily overturn, the soldering stand is no good you will burn the plastic, the lens is good but the height adjustments is too bad, the screws won't keep it together, the hands and lens will slide down as you use it. Its too short. Not at all recommended

Very satisfied with the product.
Reading through all the previous comments initially had some doubts but took the chance and ordered for it. Honestly it was upto my expectations. Best part is the magnifying glasses. Nice product. Thanks to Amazon for their promt delivery. Should improvise on the packing especially because of the magnifying glass. 👍👌🙏

Worthless product.
Product is damaged as expected. I was hoping the seller would be considerate enough to check the product before selling. It was already a used piece, packaging was completely mutilated, the main product is rusted, charging adapter is broken. I hope the seller can be banned from selling here.

Good to look at - Functionally Terrible
The stand is very good to look at and appears sturdy and perfect for the kind of work that it is designed for. However - appearances can be deceptive.Pros:The large lens is good glass. The body is weighted to prevent it from tipping over easily.Cons:The lens is quite heavy and extends out quite far causing the center of gravity to be rather high. So a hard knock - can definitely topple it.Now for the really bad defects -None of the screws hold. Even at their tightest position - the attachments are moving swinging and unable to hold position. One of the clamps kept falling out fo the mount and the screw was tightened to the maximum that I could twist it without any tools. As seen in the pictures above - Unless I provided additional support - the clamps would not hold position. Defeats the purpose for which I bought this :)Overall - disappointing. This may be a defective piece but after reading the other comments I would rate this as a DO NOT BUY.

Must for those 50+
I was almost about to quit soldering, but this product brought me back into my hobby. Good magnifier, and the best thing is the "helping hand". Indispensable. The build is a bit "chinese" but the concept is good. The best thing is that it is WORKABLE. But if possible, make it a bit more sturdy, there are many oldies like me willing to pay a higher price for such a great concept.
