Works as advertised.
Worked just find in a Supermicro 10SDV based system.Used it with a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NMVe SSD (M.2).Like the fact that it comes with two plates for half and full height card slots.

Great price, accepted a 2280 (22mm X 80mm) M.2 NVMe SSD readily, plugged right into a PCIe slot, and an older (SATA 1) workstation running Linux recognized the SSD on reboot. (It didn't show up in the file browser, but it did show up in the disk utility, ready for formatting.) A benchmark test showed 1.5/1.4 GB/s read/write speeds. Not too shabby for an older model desktop workstation PC.

get advantage of the new ssd cards
a terabyte for a machine its a great upgrade; but even having the slot for the card were used, so I decide to install this card, works great no problems, just a minimal problem, when the cards are a little bit wide, you can not use both slots.
