Jay 124947 Odor Assassin, 6 oz, Orange

My back passenger window was down in the rain for about 1 1/2 days. Obviously I didn't notice as I don't sit back there. I tried everything even placing a thick towel on the back seat and floor and pushing down hard to absorb the water many times. The car reeked of dampness even after it dried. Carpet cleaner sprays/cans, car diffusers using essential oils, etc. I purchased 2 large containers of Frabreez at Sam's Club (they came together) and poured some into a spray bottle and sprayed every day everything in the inside of the car. It worked better than those bathroom freshener sprays but the smell was still there. I removed the seat covers (they are washable) and they reeked of that smell. After washing them, I put them back in and then purchased auto cleaning stuff from Amazon to clean the dash and everything top to bottom. Then I purchased Odor Assassin in orange (2 cans for good measure) and apple scent because Fabreeze and the rest wasn't cutting it. The orange Odor Assassin killed that damp scent - no question. There was a huge difference the first time I used it and that damp smell was completely gone with the second spay over. I kept both orange scent cans and gave the apple scent to a relative with a child that spilled his McDonald (choc milk?) all over the back seat floor and didn't say anything. The floor reeked. He scrubbed the floor several times with carpet cleaner and scrubbed the floor mat but that scent lingered. The Odor Assassin ended that nasty smell also.

This is the BEST odor eliminating product. I had bought a small bag of bag if potatoes and forgot about them in my trunk. It was winter so they froze, and then as temperature rose... the smell started. I am sure many of you have smelled rotten potatoes. They STINK HORRIBLY. I tried everything. Different kinds of Febreze.. baking soda.. cleaning and scrubbing.. nothing was helping. Every time I got into my car I could hardly breathe. So I set out to find something to really eliminate it. I found some good reviews elsewhere and decided to give it a try. Amazon had the best price too. Once I got it, I sprayed it liberally in my trunk and car. I did this about 4 times in a 48hr.period. Each time it smelled better and better. Finally, after my fourth inspection I was jumping for joy. It was gone!!! This is an awesome product.It also lasts a long time, and pesky ants hate it too! Spray it right on them and watch them drop dead before your eyes. I can't say how glad I am I purchased this.

I absolutely love Odor Assassin. It eliminates odors quickly and smells amazing. I have purchased several cans and will continue to use this product. Here's the problem I have. One of the cans i purchased stopped spraying about half way through and the another stopped spraying after a couple of uses. I tried running hot water over the nozzle, thinking maybe it was clogged from the spray drying over the hole. I even tried switching the nozzle of the empty can with the new can to no avail. So for that reason, i'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

This is the most amazing product. We live in an area with a high water table, making it hard to get rid of a damp smell in the unfinished basement, but a couple squirts (it's a pump rather than an aerosol) and the whole large room smells wonderful for days No other air spray I've ever tried has worked this well and smelled this good. (Everyone who goes down the stairs asks what the wonderful smell is.) I made the mistake of ordering the lemon scent, though, and it's not nearly as good, and one of the two in the package won't spray...will stick with the orange from here on.

I love the smell of this item. But the green cap lasts longer

I bought this spray to cover up the nasty smell in my husbands car so I could thoroughly clean it as well as to spray around the diaper pail when it gets particularly stinky but isn't ready to be changed. The spray works better and stronger then anything else I've ever tried. A little goes a long way. I like this smell but I'm not so in love with it that I want to smell it 24-7. When I sprayed this in the car the smell lasted several weeks before it faded... that is a really really long time for an aerosol!

so this works well, takes care of even bad potty odors. I wish it did not have the sweet undertones to the scent though, i would prefer just a solid citrus. The maker does have other scents, but I can't find a very good description of them.One thing though, when it says to use a little, it means only use a little. I overdid it a few times, it really only does take just a tiny spray.

I love the smell of the orange Odor Assassin. It only takes one quick spray to do the job. You do not need more than that or it is too strong. That is why a can lasts so long. It is a great product. I buy it all the time and this time I stocked up so I won't have to buy it again for at least a year.
