The poems in this book were understanding. I coulddn't put the book down and I enjoyed every poem. I love every page there were birds on it flying and they looked like ravens, but I'm too sure on it, so don't qoute me on that.Sarah Ann Waldron is an excellent writer and I recommend this novel who loves to read great poetry.

poignant and profound book chronicles the journey of a young woman through the throes of overcoming addiction and they also show
'Mary Jane's Scattered Poetic Memoirs' is one of the most powerful, personal. confessional and emotional books I have ever read. It reminded me of Sylvia Plath 'Ariel' with its raw, emotive lines and also the 'John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band ' album in its unadorned honesty. This moving, poignant and profound book chronicles the journey of a young woman through the throes of overcoming addiction and they also show her true love for her family. These poetic memoirs reveal the insight of the narrator into her life story. The poems are not afraid to be direct about the hopes, actions and experiences of the narrator. 'Mary Jane's Scattered Poetic Memoirs' is a book of poems which I would recommend to any reader who likes truthful, compelling writing.

A poet for the new millenium.
I believe Sarah Ann Waldron is one of a great new generation of poets. Her writing is both creative and frank as she addresses her own struggles with addiction. I eagerly await her next work. I hope she does not keep us waiting too long.
