Ballistic SA0607-M315 Shell Gel Series Case for BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900/9930 - Black/Gray - (Bulk Packaging)

For insulation of your phone, I am please with the quality of this. The other day I had my first phone drop after I'd put this case on. Boink. The phone hit the concrete on the point of the upper left corner and bounced like a very dull tennis ball once before coming to rest. Happily, the phone was unfazed. So plus points to the SG case for passing the first drop test.The side buttons work fine still with the case and, in fact, seem to be a little less sensitive that when caseless, which is a good thing since I was forever slipping the phone in a pocket and hearing a cheerful female voice commanding me to "Say a command." The part of the case that covers the buttons seems high quality for now and durable.I would have preferred to have the headset port and charging port to have some kind of flippable cover. They don't. My wife had this phone with an Otterbox case that did have the flippable covers. When she saw this SG cover, though, she said she would have preferred it to her Otterbox. I'm given to understand that Lifebox is watertight. The reason I didn't get that, though, is because of the dreaded BlackBerry battery yank. If I ever have to do that (which, so far is turning out to be far less frequently with this BlackBerry Bold than I had to do with the BlackBerry Curve), I didn't want each incidence of batt yanking to be an ordeal in removing the case.In summation, good price, high quality and appears durable, wish it was watertight or had port covers (although I knew up front that it didn't have them when I made the purchase). As the used to say on American Bandstand, I'd give it an 85. It's got a beat and I can dance to it.

I abused my last BlackBerry, and my kids did me no favors with their needs. So, when I received my upgrade, I wanted to protect it with the best possible cover/protector. The Ballistic is incomparable to any case I had on my prior phones. The rubber undercase with oversized corners is what saves this unit. I've demonstrated confidently to my coworkers the safety this provides by nearly throwing the phone on the floor. It simply provides the best absorption. The hard plastic shell adds that extra layer of confidence that I've bought the right insurance against possible damage. Additionally, the form of the cover around the phone provides excellent access for the charger and headphone jacks. My wife's phone cover needs to be removed for a good connection. Love this and strongly recommend if you're prone to phone drops, or if you have kids that are!

I purchased an Otterbox Commuter case for my Bold and the hard cover cracked after two weeks. This case was a third cheaper. I have a new phone (Q10) and I still have my Bold which is in perfect condition thanks to this case. It is a great design. I bought another Ballistic case for my Q10 but they didn't design that one as well as this masterpiece.

I am so happy I bought this for my Blackberry. Its very durable and absorbs the shock/impact when I do happen to drop the phone. I'm glad the rubber edges make it so that the phone does not slide around (because without the case its pretty sleek). Very happy with this purchase. Arrived quickly.

Used the ballistic case for the first time. Highly impressed by the build quality, ease of use and most importantly no bulk to my blackberry bold. This case has been designed very well and am carrying my phone in my shirt pocket without any feeling of extra bulk or weight. Highly recommended.

You can't beat the price for this. Looks sharp and does it's job. A cheap alternative to the Otter case and by "cheap" I don't mean quality.

Product was great. It was a little too masculine for me but that's just my personal taste. I gave it to a coworker and he loves it. He's dropped his phone several times and no scratches, cracks or issues. Will definitely look to see if they sell other colors

What else can be said other than its a phone case for a blackberry. Seems sturdy enough, but have not had the opportunity to drop it.
