Socofy Zipper Flat Boots,Women's Soft Leather Ankle Vintage Unique Handmade Flower Round Topline Shoes

I got these from Amazon but from another vendor with a different brand name. They are truly and absolutely cute, beautiful, and unique. The leather is wonderfully soft and comfortable and these boots required no break-in time at all. My feet are an approximate size 7.5-8 and wide; I’d gotten these in size 40 and they fit perfectly with plenty of room for thick winter socks. They are nice and wide and as comfy as Birk clogs.The dealbreaker for me was that they have a hidden wedge inside at the heel. Everywhere I’ve found these boots and other gorgeous boots similar to these they are listed as “flat”, and when I ask under product questions I’m also told they are “flat”.They are NOT flat. Not at all.Reviews hardly ever mention hidden wedges. It would appear that women are so indoctrinated to wear heels that a hidden wedge is considered flat. A hidden wedge does NOT constitute a FLAT shoe. There are several other beautiful boots like these here on Amazon listed under different brand names by different sellers that have the exact same issue - or for me, major problem.Due to my having broken a leg and both ankles, and having smashed knees, a torn ACL, many screws, and a metal plate in one leg, this centimeter of hidden wedge is intolerable. I need completely flat shoes. I kept these for a year because they are so gorgeous and so comfortable, other than the wedge issue; but I found myself never wearing them and going for my Birkenstocks instead every time. I ended up giving them away, with a broken heart.Apparently most women are not bothered by this bit of wedge heel, so IF - and only if - you are one of them and like these boots, by all means get them, maybe order a size up. I am still saddened by not being able to use these boots. I got the yellow boots with green flowers, not my colors at all (I’m into purple/blue/grey/black) but these boots are just SO pretty! I may get brave and get the shoes ... 🤪

Hidden heel insert in shoe which raises your heel. I bought these on the New Chic website where Socofy shoes are much more inexpensive. I ordered the boots a full size larger than I normally wear, so the fit is perfect with heavy socks. I'm going to try some metatarsal pads and see if that helps a bit. I will probably wear these rarely, if I decide to keep them at $33.

These are my most favorite boots ever. I was given a pair as a gift. I am a 9 and a half normally and the ten fits me perfectly. I get complimenteed on them every time I wear them and the are lined with this soft lining that makes my feet happy. I came on here to find another pair in another color and am going off to cry in a corner because they have none left in my size in any color. I currently have and wear almost daily the red with black flowers.

These were are the cutest boots ever! However, the leather smells so bad at can’t get passed it. I’ve tried everything, aired them out, cleaned them with something, etc. So horrible I almost get sick to my stomach smelling them. Just can’t get passed it. I’ve never left them outside for over a month. So very sad because they are so super cute.

These are so cute, but even thought I went on their size chart, they were still a whole size too small! Seller sent me, at no cost, a larger pair.
