I thoroughly enjoyed the selection of writings. As an Indian woman, I caught myself reliving and feeling some of the lines. The translations give you an insight into the lives of women in India starting early civilisation. Funny lot has changed, lot remains the same. I loved the chapter on marriage.This book is a must for all women study departments in the country.
