Hatte vorher den 3K SLR Gorillapod für meine A7III. Obwohl es 3 Kilogramm halten soll, fand ich es nicht stabil genug vor allem wenn man schwere Objektive benutzt wie der 16-35 2.8. Hab den dann verkauft und die 5K Variante gekauft.5K hat 2 Einstellschrauben, einmal für das Kugelgelenk und einmal für PAN Rotation. 3K hat nur eine Schraube für das Kugelgelenk was nervt.5K Version hat auch eine ARCA Platte. Das ist seeeeeeehr geil. Die Kunststoffplatte vom 3K wirk billig und nicht robust.Die Kugeln von den Beinen der 5K Version sind auch dicker und scheinen robuster.Also 3K einfach vergessen und auf den 5K zugreifen wenn man seine Ruhe haben will.

Acquistato per avere maggiore portata e stabilità, dopo 6 mesi di abbondante di utilizzo, il Joby è diventato per me indispensabile. Sia chiaro che non sostituisce un cavalletto tradizionale, ma può aiutare spesso a non rimpiangerne la mancanza (soprattutto in viaggio). Consiglio assolutamente di dotarlo della sua testa a sfera, ottima. Senza di essa, infatti, diventa quasi impossibile regolare l'inquadratura.

I was struggling to find a travel tripod small enough to carry in a backpack yet strong enough to hold my Sony RX10 - until I came across this Joby tripod. It is a little on the pricey side, but it feels like it is made of high quality materials. After having seen other reviews commenting on the fragility of Joby products I was a little nervous about being too rough with the flexible legs. However, I found them to be stronger than anticipated and was soon happily bending the legs around metal fences where the camera would hardly shift in place. Be gentle yet firm and you shouldn't have any problems. During use the tripod felt sturdy and well-balanced, even with the lens fully extended. I would definitely recommend this fantastic piece of kit.

Was hesitant in making the purchase before. After, getting feedback from other photographer’s I purchased it. A decision I should have done along time ago. Holds my D850 and either 24-105 or a Sigma Art 20mm F1.4. With no issues at all.

This tripod is an amazingly versatile addition to my camera kit. For years, I have been using my Manfrotto carbon fibre tripod, but even though its not that heavy, it is quite bulky. This little tripod is so light and compact, it fits easily under the flap on my camera backpack. It easily supports the weight of my Canon 5D mk3, with a 100-400 lens attached. Even out in the field, its easy to use. The 3 flexible legs can be wrapped around wooden posts, tree branches and anything else to support your camera. An all round brilliant piece of kit.
