They are affordable but with an issue...
I bought this brake system so I could replace my old brakes since my old set from Walmart (of course, what do I expect.) They we're horrible and had many factory defects. So I thought if I spend a little more money I could get some good stopping power. Well stopping power is what I got but in a span of a half a day when commuting with them they had a horrid screech. At first I thought it was a car braking with unmatinenced brakes. Soon to realise it was me with these. So I did what any other rider would do clean the disc and pads thuroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Then I tried them again, BOOM felt like brakes from the bike shop. Unexpectedly after 1 1/2 days they screeched and yelled and I couldn't use them anymore cause they we're extreemly irritating, Blowing people's eardrums like that. I ride downtown everyday, and to only cause hearing loss with these? no I won't accept that. In summary, brakes look good, perform alright, unless you know how to set them up correctly, but you won't be able to escape the soundwaves shanking away at your eardrums or those around you.

As far as I've used them, they are not good for a motorcycle type application.
I used these on my motorized bicycle. Much too soft to stop this 80lb bike in an emergency. 30mph takes 100ft to stop.I will change the pads and bed them (and the rotors) in on a different bike, then test it on my 80lber. Hopefully, the update will contain good news that will enable me to change the rating.Update:Still not the best, but after fiddling with the cable tension a bit, it stops like any motorcycle would normally, within about 30ft from 20mph. This is at full lever pull, so that should say enough. Still, not good enough for emergency stops. Will be switching to shimano slx hydraulics and icetech rotors.

Easy install: if you are mechanically inclined it will be very easy to install these. You may have a spacing issue but it could all be solved with with washers and spacers.Great perfomance: my braking distance has almost totally dimishedIf your current brake system is old and not responding this is a great bang for the buck!

Pads won't center and keeps running at bottom of pads. Get what you pay for.

Item was used. Missing bolts for calipers. Need to go riding this weekend so going to hardware store to get bolts. Please don't sent used items.
