Spartan Impact IMHDM14 Hand Drill Machine 1/4 (Red)

Pretty interesting product. Wanted it to drill holes in the walls to hang clock, paintings, clothes hanging ropes etc. Ordered a good quality (John Bhandari) masonry drill bit and both of them work perfectly.Can't thank the seller enough. I was earlier going to buy a cheap electric drill (still thrice as expensive) , which would not only have gone bad in a couple of months but would also have eaten up quite some electricity ( I pay Rs. 10 a unit - sub-meter woes). All in all a perfect addition to my hardware collection.If you want to buy this for drilling holes in the wall, get a good masonry drill set, ensure your walls are regular brick/masonry and not concrete and this should be good to go. The sellers told that max 6 bit masonry drill can be used - I used 8bit drill and it worked perfectly too.

Dril machine is good and it will surely serve the house purpose. But buy the original dril bits so that the drilling becomes easy. If you go with cheap bits then this machine is not that powerful

The teeth just do not fit in the grooves making it extremely difficult to operate. even the wooden handle provided at the side to hold the drill is so small that you can hardly hold it. I have used a hand-drill before and that was extremely smooth and easy to use compared to this one. I will not recommend this product to anyone.

I had requested for return of the item and it was scheduled to be picked on May 13th Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm. However between 6 pm and 7 pm I was not at home and the return item till date has not been picked up. Kindly reschedule the return pickup as I am not satisfied with the item.

Pros - Great for wood. It drills wood within a minute. If you have bosch wood bits or similar specal wood bits.Cons- Tightening chuck key attachment not provided. You cannot tighten the chuck n hence the bits keep coming off if not tighened tight with hand.Suggestions- Buy a different chick that has key attachment like a power drill has. It will also allow you to attach drill bits of sizes that are greater than 6 mm.Made in India!! Great Robust design n sturdy!!

Chuck is good. Usefull for small drilling jobs. But Not so useful for some heavy DIY jobs as the rotating handle tends to bend on load. Also the wooden grip provided is easily out of its nut and bolt.Ps:Save some more money and go for electric drill. Just sharing my experience.

A very nice item, which is better than I expected it to be. The drill has double gear which makes its operation a smooth one. The price is also fair one. The best part is that it can be used in the event of a power cut or at those places where the corded drill cannot reach due to length of cord. Comes highly recommended.

Good one but I didn’t received any drill bit so I gave less star because as i live in delhi it’s cost in delhi market is 200/- but seller was showing to provide whole kit with drill bit and due to covid it’s good to get at home and be safe for this rate it’s very good buy..
