The media could not be loaded.      This is a cute SWAT costume. It runs LARGE. My son wears a size 10/12 in street clothes and I bought the 8/10 after reading the other reviews. Glad I did. He may have even fit in another size smaller if he wasn't so tall. The set comes with lots of pieces! Jumpsuit, vest, elbow pads, knee pads, hat and a belt/gun holster. You will need to iron every piece when it arrives, even the hat. It is all very squished into the bag. I trimmed the excess Velcro on the knee pads and the elbow pads with scissors after I fitted them to my son because the was a lot hanging off the sides. This is a costume and not real SWAT gear. Don't be surprised about the quality of the fabric or the pieces. (I read about this in the one star reviews posted) He complains that it is a itchy costume, so you will most likely want to wear an undershirt. He also says the elbow pads are uncomfortable because he can’t bend his arms easily. Since the hat was really odd we got another hat/helmet. It’s perfect! He also wanted a gun. I wanted something that didn’t look realistic and I found this awesome cheap toy pistol on amazon as well. I put links to both accessories in the comments section. Overall, this is a good costume for Halloween and play time. Since it runs big he can wear it for a long time to come and that's a good thing because it certainly isn't the cheapest costume on the site!

This costume is very cute in the pics and cute on. A little disappointed in the overall quality when you pay $40+ for a kids costume though. Here's my problems with it, I ordered a large for my 8 year old (hes tall for his age but based on the chart they provided the large would be plenty big enough). It was a little on the short side when it arrived, but not too bad. The knee pads we had to just take off because as he walked the pant legs rode up even more. The hat was TERRIBLE. The bill of the hat is not adjustable and terribly uneven. My biggest issue which may not bother some - the jumpsuit is all one piece and then the vest slips on over top of it. So when he wore it to school he had to take the vest off and then the jumpsuit down just to use the restroom. That might not be a problem for some if only wearing it for a short time - but kids wearing to school could be difficult for some. He enjoyed wearing the costume and it looked cute. For $40+ I would definately consider another costume though.

The size medium swallowed our 8 1/2 year old son, but he just tucked the legs into some boots and fastened the SWAT vest to keep everything in place. The belt with knife holster is too big for him now also, but he wasn't bothered. He loves to play dress up and was very excited with the overall costume - and can now wear it for a few more years for playtime!

The jumpsuit is made of a cheap polyester material and is very large, but the accessories such as the hat (shallow so it doesn't stay on well) and chestpad are small or not in proper proportion to the jumpsuit. The belt and leg gun holster are the most realistic parts of the costume. The knee & elbow pads are simply a flat piece of cheap material with velcro ends to strap on. The patches on jumpsuit sleeves are of mediocre quality. Not the quality costume I was hoping (and paid) for.

This outfit looks just like the real thing. I found the jumpsuit generously sized. It should fit for years to come. The vest looks like the real thing and is infinately adjustable. The hat is not terribly deep and slides off. It was a hit at halloween and a favorite for role play.

A little big but cute overall

Costume runs ridiculously large. My son is 8 and he is swimming in the Medium. The material is very cheap for the price and nothing stays put. The hat is 5 sizes to small for him and can not be adjusted. Really disappointed.

Worth buying. Nice costume
