This is the only product that has helped my fiance who has suffered from severe eczema all his life, aside from powerful steriod creams and oral medications that have bad side effects. I want to write about curcumin in general and this product in specific. I had lower back pain that just seemed to never go away. Some days the pain was so intense I could not set in my chair and work. When I woke up in the morning I felt like I had been beaten all night and could barely role out of bed. Then I read where curcumin could help to relive pain related to inflammation. I further read that not all curcumin capsules were equal. That the most effective ones added Bioperine to increase its absorption by the body over 2,000% (that is right,,, 2,000%!) than without it. Also, the amount of curcumin extract should be at a 95% level.I found a brand that had these specifications and bought it. The first time I took a capsule was before I went to bed. The next morning I woke up and got out of bed. It took me a couple of minutes before I realized that I jumped out of bed with no pain! Then I thought that it must be because I was having an exceptionally pain free day. Over the next week it became clear that the curcumin I was taking was having a huge impact on the amount of pain I typically felt. It literally all but eliminated the pain I had been suffering from for a very long time. For me, this is a miracle substance. I was further reinforced of its ability to relieve my pain when I forgot to order a new bottle before the old one was empty. Over the week I went without it my pain got worse every day. Then when I got the new bottle and took a capsule the next day I was pain free again.I have since recommended this to numerous friends and family that have inflammation related pain. Every person that has bought a quality curcumin product has had a noticeable benefit from taking it. Some have had my level of response and some have had less. All have received enough benefit to keep taking it to relieve some, if not all, of their pain resulting from inflammation. One person bought a cheap Walmart brand of curcumin and saw no benefit but when they bought a quality product they saw a huge benefit. The Bioperine additive, which is an extract from black pepper, is crucial in order for the body to absorb the curcumin in a quantity that is beneficial.I switched to this brand a few months ago as it had the same specifications as my old brand for almost half the price. I see no difference in the effectiveness of these capsules compared to the more expensive ones I had been taking. I can't say enough about the benefits that capsules like these can provide to people suffering from pain caused by inflammation.

Thought I would try a different brand and seller, but did not have a good experience with this purchase. The inner seal of one bottle had been opened. I contacted Amazon instead of the seller because that is what they required. Amazon was gracious enough to offer an apology and a refund. I do not know how an inner seal could be open like that and will not take the chance of consuming so I can not rate this purchase on whether the product is worth taking. I threw it away. I did not like that the bottle size is twice as big as needed... waste of plastic and fills our landfills quicker for those who do not recycle. I also did not like that there was a cotton ball stained the color of the turmeric in the bottle. I have never seen a product with a cotton ball in it that was stained. I will stick with purchases of turmeric from other sellers/companies.

These seem good. My husband stopped taking his mess for colitis and switched to these, symptoms are ok for now. I don't usually leave reviews, but this company promised to donate $5 to a Illinois food bank if I left a review. :)

My wife tripped at work and fell on the hard floor tearing her meniscus. After having the tears cleaned up, she was hobbling around for a while. I thought I could save a few bucks by trying this product and I guess the old adage "you get what you pay for" is true, not that I think this product was inexpensive but considering the fact that it seemed to do nothing other than make me feel like I'm having a hotflash (I'm way beyond those days) and gave me heartburn, I would not give it away for free. I took almost the whole bottle as directed, so I feel I gave it a fair chance. I did not see anything close to the results I got from a more expensive, but much more effective product I tried previous to this one and since there is a money back guarantee I think I am going to ask for a refund. I'll let you know how I make out with that.
