SanDisk 512 MB CompactFlash Card, SDCFB-512-A10 CF Type I Card

This 512 memory card is very hard to find in local stores, now that all new cameras and video products require much larger MB capacity, like gigabyte + actually. While I am still using my digital Nikon camera that only has 5 megapixel capacity, the camera will not accept memory cards with more than the 512MB. I found out when I put a 4 gigabyte card in the slot...got a no memory alert. You simply cannot use large memory in many of the former cameras. I was very glad to dilscover that Amazon had the smaller cards available online. I plan to get a few more, just until I purchase a newer camera, with say, 14 + megapixel.

San Disk always provides excellent and reliable storage for my camera and other devices. It's fast and reliable; I have never had a problem.

This memory card size is great for the use with Fanuc controls. This memory size is large enough to hold plenty of data. This memory size is small enough that the control allows the use of this memory card. I have been told that if you use to large of a memory card on Fanuc controls the card will not work. This card used with the adapter  SanDisk SDAD-38-A10 CF to PC Card Adapter  will work well on a Fanuc cnc machine tool controls.

I stocked up on these because it is the only card that works in my 2 year old camera. The memory is plenty for taking enough high quality pics. If going on a long vacation, maybe 2 would be nice. The lower memory seems to be fading out of fashion quickly. Works well for my memory needs!

I have ordered two of these in two separate occasions. I'm using them for my Boss BR-900CD digital recorder, which won't take anything with larger than 512 MB. Delivery was quick. Product performed as expected. Price is very reasonable. I'm now thinking of ordering more.

This worked in my old Kodak DC4800 camera. I tried the extreme 32GB card, it fit the slot but the camera would not read or format the card.

Every year, I purchase hundreds of Compact Flash memory cards for a product that my company manufactures.SanDisk used to be one of my top brands for reliability. No longer.My last purchase was 10 CF cards, 7 of them failed. This is not just bad luck, over the last two years the failure rate went from less than 1% to this peak of 70%.The failure rate averages about 40% in the short term, the long term has more of them fail.We had to write a compact flash card testing program to eliminate the bad cards. One or two errors is no big deal because the software corrects for that but these cards have hundreds of errors.I will stick with Simpletech or Crucial CF cards. They typical test without any errors on them.Do yourself a favor and don't buy SanDisk !

I do professional assignments and need reliable, noise free flash cards. SD is famous for doing the job and most of the photogs I know use them as a first choice. I purchased the 512 mb for a special application. It works as expected - great!
