WranglerWomen's Blues Relaxed Fit Mid Rise Heavyweight Jean

I have a love/hate relationship with these jeans. I always liked the 100% cotton, mid-rise, tapered leg fits of the jeans of yesteryear. Unfortunately, those cannot be found anywhere anymore. I live in a cold climate, and the current paper thin material of women's jeans just doesn't cut it here. The jeans made years ago still had style, and were functional for me. These were the most cost effective heavy weight jeans I could find, but they don't have the same cut they used to (calves are too baggy for me). My old pair from @ 2003 were excellent, I wish they would have kept them. But I will have to make do with these until the jeans companies wise up and realize how many customers can't stand the thin, stretchy, saggy butt, immodest jeans they are selling. I work, and need my jeans to stand up to the abuse that my husband's 100% cotton jeans do (also wranglers). I also want style! Is that too much to ask? Enough of my rant, these jeans are of good thick material, 100% cotton, and they fit my pear shape (except for the big calf area of the jeans). I went by wrangler website size and ordered accordingly, and boy were the measurements off! I should have been a size 12 (according to wrangler), but I had to return 3 times before getting the correct size of 6. Also, I wash my jeans in warm water, and dry on high, so get these jeans a size larger on the length, because they do shrink (fine by me, just proves they really are 100% cotton). I hope wrangler goes back to more styles in 100% cotton for women (like tapered leg).

Pros: Anyone reading this review knows how hard 100% cotton jeans are to find that fit! While these are a 100% cotton ,mid-weight denim probably 11.5 oz not 14.5 oz, are good for indoors or light yard work. They will keep your shirt tucked in when pulling weeds as they sit very high on your waist.Cons: Really looks like a "Mom" jean waisted runs a bit snug and the "relaxed fit" seems to mean too oversized in hip and thigh and too long. No rivets on pockets, reducing longetivity.The dark blue color seems dated would be better in a stone washed and unsure the dye wont transfer.If you are looking for a high waisted 70's look, this is it. However suggest looking at the Cowboy Cut Slim Fit Natural Waist jean sold in junior sizes if not.

These are not fashion jeans, and they were not purchased with that intent. These are 100% cotton REAL jeans for REAL people who need them to be comfortable, durable, and functional for hard work. The color is your classic blue jean, and they fit the way classic jeans do: snug at the waist (no need for belt) with room in the “crotch” area (which I prefer as I do not like the feel of jean rubbing against my tendons), and loose in the leg without being too baggy. Another thing I like about them is I can fit my entire hand in the front pockets (super rare these days). All and all, I am pleased with my purchase. The only qualm I have is that I had to get the 34 length instead of 32 because they were out of stock, but even still they are a nice length.

Like that there were wranglers muss having them finely found a pair but need to loose weight in my gut so they can fit right but in keg the kinda big. Might have to have them taken in . Need to lose about 40 pds for them yo fit right will be there by the time June gets here. But know they will really fit perfect by the time December gets here I will be very happy then. I already lost 18 lbs yes lol

The legs diameter was way too big. It was like wearing clown pants. The waist was too tight. Will be returning.

Fit well. Length is great; Too the floor. Waist snug. The rise goes to my belly button. Comfortable all day, room to work. Keep their color, 100% cotton. Just as perfect of a fit as the first pair I bought 7+ years ago. Thanks.

I love that these jeans are 100% cotton and not a washed out or faded blue, something I can rarely find, except for at LL Bean. The length was as I ordered, and the waist fit fine (5'3", 125# & got 8X30), but not really relaxed and not really riding below the waist as stated in the product description. Unfortunately, as I'd read in other reviews, the width of the legs is totally out of proportion with the rest of the jeans. If I were good at balancing on one leg, I think I could fit both of my legs in one leg of the jeans. I'd prefer a lighter weight denim since our climate is pretty warm in winter, but they are well made and suitable for yard work or other non-public wearing. I'm keeping the jeans since they're all cotton & I don't like the feel of spandex mixed with denim, but they'll be relegated to wearing for yard work or in the house or maybe walking the dogs after dark when the time changes. A shame, because if the legs were proportional, they'd be great, real jeans.

-The waist size was accurate to the size chart, the length was also accurate-but the legs are huge! I mean huge, not “relaxed” like in the photo. Although the waist is a nice fit these jeans are definitely a WIDE leg, they’re big all the way from the hip down-felt like a good quality heavyweight denim (the fabric was made is USA & the jeans were sewn in Mexico)- if the wide leg is what you’re looking for these are actually well made jeans

Great to have real denim jeans rather than awful ones with elastine but the legs are so wide I took them in three inches each leg and may take a but more. Also waist a but bug but hips go way out and I have an 11 inch difference but still to baggy on hips, will alter there as well when get chance. Wish they would do other styles for women in 100percent denim.

The waist was too small and the legs were much too wide. I liked the material, too bad it didn't fit right.I used the size guide and it didn't really match up to the product.

Returned & it cost me £17.00 to return them to the seller

Just like jeans used to be without lots of lycra!
