The pellet stove brush works well. It is sturdy enough to go down the chimney and remove the build-up. My stove pipe has angles in it, so I don't use this with either the rigid or flexible rods. Instead, I attach it to a chain and pull it through the pipe. It would be nice to have a ring on at least one end of the brush to clip the chain to. I wrapped a wire around and through the brush to create a ring for the chain clip, so now it works the way I need it to.

These work well for cleaning my 3 inch pellet vent, just don't use while the pipes are still hot, it will melt. This is my second one of these because I thought it would do a better job on the chimney while it is still hot, well wrong! It started out well and by the time I got 1/2 way up the chimney with the brush it got easy to push, I pulled it out and it looked wilted and had melted the bristles, I had not realized they were made of plastic. These work good once the pipe has cooled down.

This is the dumbsizing product phase where they minimize something to maximize profits. It's about 3/4 the size of the previous generation; That's 3/4 the length, 3/4 the density, and 3/4 the shaft size. I included a picture compared the drive end of a 1/4" drive socket. This won't fir on your old 1/4" NPT rod. 1/4-20 is a different animal. I had to get a new rod. I would have given it a 2☆, except the one at the store had such floppy bristles that it made this one look awesome.

The bristles on this are stiffer than the multiple brushes I've bought from the store. I have found this makes it almost impossible to push the brush all the way though the vent pipe. But it also works much better when pulling it through

Dont buy...What good is brush without handle. I ordered handle as recommended for another $ 50 and doesnt fit. Ripoff
