I love top down bottom up blinds for their versatility, but they tend to be pricey. In a previous home I had several that cost more than $100 each, but for our smaller new house I decided to take a chance and purchased three of these blinds from Amazon. Time will tell how they hold up with use, but for now they were easy to install and look great! I usually only pull the top down, but in both directions they seem to function smoothly. I could have spent more and gotten the blackout fabric, but I ordered the regular honeycomb light-filtering shades in white - so my honest experience is that they provide privacy, but really do not block light well and I may need add a blackout curtain if we can't get used to the brightness of the room at night. However, in the daytime - they are bright and airy looking, and I really like them - glad I didn't spend nearly twice the money .

Live in ground floor apartment and was looking for a solution to allow light in and yet provide privacy. This is an excellent option. Was easy to install; we had both panels up within 30 minutes. And it looks great. A friend came over and said these blinds look expensive. Great find!

You can customize the length and width so they fit perfectly. We keep the top of our windows open and the bottoms covered for privacy - functionality is perfect.Very high quality, and insanely simple to install. We have 3 blinds in total now, and we’re very pleased with our purchases.

I used these blinds in a downstairs bedroom that have two single hung windows. These blinds allow us to open the window vent with the blinds moving up or part up and down. Easy to move blind up or down. Very easy to install with included hardware.

UPDATE - After 6 months of use, I am still very pleased with the blinds. One of the blinds failed at the top with the fabric coming off the adhesive that holds it to the rail. I took a picture and emailed it to their support and then called in. Ryan didn't even question it and sent out a replacement right away. No need to send anything back even, so I am extremely pleased again with my decision to not go through a local installer and pay 3-4x as much.I ordered just a few of these for 1 room to see the quality before ordering them for all the windows in the house. The price was great, the company rep followed up quickly with an email and we talked over the phone to get exact measurements. This included changing the length of 2 units since they did not have our length as an option on the website. They arrived quicker than suggested since the time frame given takes into account several extra days in case the customer needs to re-measure things.The installation on these is super easy for an inside mount with the clips they provide. The design of the mounting clips is very efficient and I even appreciated the tiny design features like having 1 of the 2 screw holes being slightly larger to accommodate an off-center pilot hole. You will know what I mean if you have ever tried to get 2 pilot holes *exactly* centered, especially when you are working upside down. It's a small thing but I like to think that if attention is given to small details like that, then it is engineered well as a whole.I even got a 'feature' that I couldn't get from my local companies. I wanted the street-facing side to be the same color as the inside color but 2 different local companies told me that all 3/4" shades have a white back. Note, these shades on Amazon are 3/8" which I don't know if that is listed, perhaps I just missed it.Overall I am extremely pleased with everything, especially since a local company quoted me over $6000 to do what took me about $1100 and a small amount of effort.

First... customer service is fantastic. They made sure they understood my order completely before ever starting on my shades. This was a godsend because I needed to change one of the measurements. My husband hung these for his mom and he said they went up very easily. They stood outside at night with the lights on and were not able to see anyone inside. You could see a shadow of the curtain that is in front of the blinds on the windows but they deliver complete privacy. They are very well made and they open and close so easily and smoothly. We love that you can pull them down from the top to get sunlight but still have complete privacy during the day. We installed them on 2 french doors (outside mounts) and 2 windows (inside mounts) They fit absolutely perfectly and they fit behind the door handle without any issues at all opening them. I would recommend these blinds for anyone looking for a clean beautiful well made product. We ordered the ivory beige and it was true to the color displayed in the picture.

I don't usually write reviews, but for anyone on the fence about these shades, you won't be disappointed. I looked all over for this type of shade and while these weren't the cheapest I found, it sounded like these were built and operated like the more expensive shades. I don't have anything to compare these to, but I'm really happy with how they look and how they feel when I raise and lower the shade.I did worry a little bit about how they would fit, I mounted mine inside the window frame. But, I sent them the exact measurements of my window opening and the shades ended up being a perfect fit. Installing the shades was fairly painless, and I'm pleased with how sturdy the hardware is.I purchased two shades to try them out on a couple windows. I will be ordering more shades from this company.
