Female UHF Connector
Not good quality. There is a very poor attachment of the center pin in the connector, to the dielectric. All 4 pull apart on first use.Not buying again...

Work well, stood up to my clumsy butane torch soldering.
Needed to solder these without an outlet nearby so I used a butane (cooking) torch. No problem. I found it works well to "tin" the inner first by putting a piece of solder in and melting that first so it coats the inside, then a tinned wire can be soldered to the center connector. I have not tried soldering the shield, but I imagine it would go smoothly.Despite my concerns that I'd lingered too long with the torch, the center insulator was fine.

Great J-pole connector.
If you are using these to make a J pole antenna I didn't even try to solder them until I ground off the chrome with a dremel. They soldered up great without any melting issues to the nylon and that's using a propane torch to do it.

Not well made
Very poor quality. The plastic insulator is not firmly attached and pulls loose. It can be glued into place, but that certainly shouldn't be necessary.

Loose center contact
Umm, the center contact is too large. Won't make contact with any of my PL259s. Will have to bend the fingers together.

The insulating material withstands the heat of soldering.
This part installed without melting the insulator material.

Great SO239's.
Good quality and just what Ineeded for my project.

These look like they will work out OK
Actually these were ordered for a ham radio "maker" demonstration. probably will not be put to actual use. So in that respect... they will be put to good use.
