Great oilfield Boot
Love these boots they are great, work perfect in water and ice, have worn them in high teens weather and have not felt an ounce of cold. They also have a great sole so when you are working in a slick or muddy environment the really tend to dig in a keep you grounded. Also have worn them in warmer temperatures up to about 70 degrees out side, and in the heat of the moment working have not noticed my feet sweating any more than they would with a good old fashioned pair of leather wellingtons. I work around a lot of chemicals as well and have walked through some pretty corrosive stuff and not had any damage. Fair warning they do have a full steel plate on sole so your foot dose not been like it would normaly do when walking. This takes some time to get used to and your feet may be sore for a couple of days.

Warm and dry feet
These boots really work stomping around in the snow for 12 hours and temperatures down to 12° so far. I have not had cold feet or wet.

Very nice boots
I work in the oilfields of North Dakota and so far these boots have been great. They keep my feet warm and toasty and they are comfortable. So far I haven't noticed them tearing in any spots and the rubber soles seem to be holding up good.

Great boots, just don't fit the same as a regular safety boots.
These boots look great for their designed purpose, the issue and reason I did not provide a better rating is due to the fitment and quality of the mold. Additionally, they do not appear to be insulated, although I was happy enough with the lining, given I wear a heavier sock during the cold winter months. The rubber itself, at least on the pair I received, was full of small holes and defects. I overlooked that issue, after all, they are heavy work boots! After wearing them frequently inside my home to keep them clean, I finally caved and am sending them back. Despite ordering them a full size and a half larger than normal, they are too narrow and hurt my feet. They actually squeeze my feet (at the arch and big toe area), and being heavy rubber, they don't have any give. Nor do I expect that they would become any better with wear. Truly, I am sad to return these boots! Especially seeing that the price increased $50 within a couple of days of my purchase (I paid $169).Honestly, if you have a fairly narrow foot, I would suggest a medium width and they should fit just fine. Wearing a heavy sock, then up the size at least one step. Keep in mind, these boots are heavy! I'm used to that, having worn this stuff my entire life, and the safety factor can't be disregarded. Good luck!

a good pair of boots makes all the difference
I am a dairy farmer, a good pair of boots makes all the difference. I have been wearing these for over two weeks now and have enjoyed them very much. The first thing I noticed when putting them on was the sides are indexed to hold your feet. Very different than any other boot I have ever wore. The stay on your feet well, unfortunately because of these sides it take a while to wear them in. I would not recommend wearing them for an entire days of work right out of the box. The tread pattern is very deep, this allows for excellent traction in most situations, the down side is the treads hold a lot of dirt etc. in them making I little bit of a task to clean them up. They are on the heavier side, but I do not find them to be cumbersome or exhausting to walk in. Looking forward to having warmer feet this winter.
