Gear 4Piccadilly Designed for Samsung Galaxy S9 Case, Advanced Impact Protection by D3O - Black

I love the look of this case and, having dropped my phone a few times, I'm pleased to say that the drop protection is as good as always with Gear4 cases (having used their cases before). However, the sides of the case discoloured after 6 months and, even more worryingly, started to come away from the back plastic after less than 9 months! A disappointing end to a product that should really be much more robust for the price.

My experience of this case isn't great, at first it felt a bit cheap on the back cover but nice around the edges and a reasonable fit. But after a couple of months I noticed grit had gotten inside the case and as a result caused damage to the phone and the after around 6 months the sides completely separated from the back piece of the case and it basically fell apart! Started off ok but soon showed fatigue.

Only reason this is not 5 stars is the plastic melts over time and leaves a rainbow effect on the back. This sounds quite cool in concept but just ends up looking like you have oil on the back. Also turns slightly yellow after about a year of use

I purchased this case a long time ago and as a long time user I can say it is the best case I've had. No damage to my phone at all. I highly recommend!
