Good if you know its limitations
I purchased this goal for my HS son just over 2 years ago. The goal frame has been fine, but we finally had to replace the net after we could do no more repairs. So if you are really serious, expect to buy a replacement net in about a year or two depending on how well you can patch it. Your replacement net should be MUCH thicker -- 5 mm to 6 mm -- and buy polyester net vs nylon or polyethylene. To best use this goal, you will need to do the following:The velcro straps they provide are junk and will break after a couple of days. Don't try to weave the net onto the goal as you would with a stronger net. That will just have it rip faster. Instead, go to a home improvements store and buy about 50 small bungie-like cords, the kind with balls at the end. Throw away the velcro straps and use the bungie cords to secure the net. You will also need extra bungie cords to act as repair cord to fix holes that are created. Because the bungies are elastic and have some give, they will absorb some of the impact shock, and your net should last longer. Also, you should set-up a backstop behind the net, but that is a separate purchase. If you want to custom setup a backstop, buy and install fishing net.

Great goal BUT, Ball through net!
Frame is great. Easy to assemble. Brand new net looks great however the lacrosse ball will go through the netting on harder shots. Seems like the stitch pattern is too big or we received a faulty net.

Strong goal; velcro net fasteners are ineffective
This is a very nice goal. I like the reinforcements at the corners in particular. Very light weight, so easy to reposition. If you or your kid is strong, the velcro net fasteners will rip immediately. Recommend buying heavy duty nylon string, and weaving the net to the poles from top to bottom for best strength.

Not for lacrosse
Goal assembled easily, looks good, sturdy frame, net appears robust. Only problem, and it is a significant one, is that the mesh of the net is too large to prevent lacrosse balls from passing through. 80% of the shots from my 13 year old son went right through the net (didn't break the net, just went through the too-wide openings in the mesh). Luckily we have a back-stop net set up in our yard so the balls are stopped by that. Definitely disappointing. Would return except the large box it came in has since been recycled.

Nice goal
The goal and net are great quality! The Velcro straps that hold the net on aren't up to par. They break with a decent shot. No worries, though. I used 550 cord (paracord) and laced the net onto the goal for a perfect fix! The goal itself is lightweight yet very sturdy. I can move it by myself with one hand when I need to cut the grass. Comes apart for easy storage too!

Poor Quality Lacrosse Goal
The piping is too lite weight, The paint job is not good, The netting will not last (too thin), All the velcro straps that hold the netting on broke with the first hard shots from my 11 year old son.

Stay Away!
10 shots, 5 broken velcro straps. Nice net, nice pipes, but if you can't keep the net on the pipes you have no goal. This product will be returned!
