I bought four of these in four different colors. The dark brown one blocks the sun more than the beige one.Note that this sail doesn't block the sun for 100% like cement roof would do. It is as it says in the description: 80-85%, I think it is blocking more than that.Material and ropes are strong. The hooks are very strong too.Because the rain can go right through the plants still get water, and there are no amounts of water collecting that can damage the sail. This is a big plus compared with the Hippo models that are water tight, though those water-proof ones are a better choice if you want to keep something dry - obviously.It makes a huge difference in the indoor temperature, as the concrete roof is not working anymore as a heat-radiator. When it is hot outside, it's still hot inside, but not this scorching heat from absorbing all day sunlight. I highly recommend this, or if you want more shade the 95% (also on Amazon) model.Will buy again, unless I need a different percentage sun block

I am using hippo curtains, shades from more than a year and no complaint so far. Thats why i purchased on more. Only issue ia price as it is too high compare to other shades (almost double). Because of this i rated it one point less

The shade sail is really good. It does its purpose well. I needed it for Car parking because the summer sunrays heat up the car a lot. The sail has really reduced the heating effect of sunrays. The fabric of the sail is quite airy and it looks durable. It has the dimensions as 12m x 16m and it's large enough for even a full size sedan car or SUV.

Good till it lasted. Unfortunately it lasted only 3 summers. Plastic netting weakened and disintegrated in 3 summers. Had to discard the shade as unusable .

Bit expensive but have worth because all sides are already hemmed/ stitched, and rings are there on all four corners. Easy & ready to install at instant.rope provided along with the net is normal cloth hanging rope, I installed the net with metal wire for better stability.Gives good shades on the balcony.thanks!

A little expensive but it looks nice and solves the purpose

I have been using this for around 6 months currently over my pargola. I find the product is durable and provides a good balance of shade and light. Will order more for some shade to my terrace ponds.

Quality of the product looks ok, but the sizes I am not confident. It did not fit to my requirements and when I wanted to swap this with 16 ft variant, I was asked to send the product back on my own which would cost me 400 Rs and place a new order for the 10x16 ft one. Now I have a product bought for 1000 which ll be lying unused for ever. Please be vary of this before buying it.
