Juju Roo Water Baby Carrier for Shower, Pool or Beach

Good carrier

I wanted to like this but it pinched my baby girls legs and tilted her top half forward. it wasn't comfortable for her. Great concept, but needs some adjustment.

I bought this carrier for my 4 month old in the pool. Since babies get so slippery I thought this would be a better idea. I think it will be fine when he gets a little bigger. However he is only happy facing outward, which does not work with this carrier because he cant sit up on his own yet. The front of the carrier dips very low and the arm straps are awkward so I have to hold him in it. And forget being able to shower in it. This might also work better on a taller adult. I am 5'4" and it feels like the carrier hangs very low even fully adjusted.

I received this carrier and absolutely loved it. I take my 13 month old to the water park all the time and she loves to try swimming in it. Fabulous would reccomend it to anyone.

As a mom of 2, I have used the bjorns, various wraps, and slings to carry my babies. As such, I thought this would be a smart purchase. I was wrong. It is harder to put on and then get your baby into than any of the other carriers I just mentioned. I had to have someone else hand me the baby and finish snapping all the hooks on this carrier while I held the baby in place. Needing someone else to help completely defeats the purpose of buying it in order to be able to better shower or hit the pool independently with baby. I also found it VERY uncomfortable to wear for over 20 minutes (the one time I used it) and ended up literally holding/ supporting my baby from the under-side to ease the digging into my shoulders and back. Finally, I thought my baby felt "top-heavy" and I was not confident he was even safe in this carrier. To summarize, I would not recommend it and only wish I had saved my receipt so I could return it. I recommend buying a bjorn with the lumbar support, and just wearing it into the shower or pool. They are made with a lot of mesh too and can be put in the washing machine. Most importantly, they are far more comfortable and seem to offer more coverage/ safety for the baby.

This carrier is a good idea, but uncomfortable and unmanageable for everyone involved. Try a mesh sling instead. One star.

I bought this item for a recent trip to Great Wolf Lodge. I was concerned about having my baby in my arms while my son was playing in the water. While the lifeguards are great, I was concerned that he would get in trouble and I'd have my arms full with the baby. I didn't realize at the time that it was actually a shower sling, too, because I had bought it on my iphone and the listing where I bought it was a waterproof carrier one. I was thrilled when it arrived b/c I saw on the paperwork that it was a shower carrier. Naturally, I had to try it out. :) I loved the fact that I could shower with the baby hands free and get her clean without fearing dropping her!I did take it with me to Great Wolf Lodge, too, and it worked brilliantly. Many other moms stopped me to ask what kind of carrier it was and where I'd gotten it. I enjoyed using this product immensely. My only gripe about it would have to be that it doesn't last for as long as I would've liked. Wish it were like my Ergo which will last well into the toddler years.

As a swimmer I was wondering how I would be able to take my 2 year old and 3 month old swimming together with no help. The carrier solved this problem. It is comfortable to wear with easily adjustable straps, keeps the baby secure and enabled me to swim with both my toddler and baby. Everyone was happy. Great product.
