I bought this to help protect father's extensive use of Gutkha and pan masala. He doesn't drink though.It reads that it protects liver from the harm caused by the use of tobacco and alcohol.So far after a weeks use, I feel that it did help me because:1. It helped reduce his craving frequency.2. It helped his skin marks reduce in its intensity, which I felt had come because of years of use of tobacco.3. The first time I had before drinking, it worked like a charm after a pretty rough night. However after a few times, every time I took the pill and drank, my blood presssure dropped to scary levels like 80 / 45. I started getting alcohol flashes (Asian flush) and my entire body including my face turned blood red. I wasn’t drunk at all but I felt miserable, almost out of breath, blurred vision and dizzy.
