It is non aggressive so it should be OK. Your best bet is to contact the makers - Turtle Wax.

I use it on mine with no (apparent) problem.

Q: Can you use it on the body of a car like autoglym magma

Personally I would use both only on my wheels as they contain high traces of sodium (salt), you don't want that on your paint work. It might be better investing in this for the wheels and a dedicated tar removal kit for the bodywork? Your choice. Your car. But just some advice from a random guy on the internet :)
