Escoda Artist Brush & Hand Soap, Natural Olive Oil, 100G

This soap was recommended to me by a fellow artist as a great finishing cleaner for my oil painting brushes. After cleaning them with solvent, I find this soap is terrific at removing hard to reach paint residue, and it conditions them well. Has helped extend the life of my brushes significantly. And great on your hands too!

Silly me was brushing on some primer and had something sudden to attend to. Instead of taking a couple of seconds to rinse the primer off my brush, I set it down and came back to my bristles hardened by setting primer! The poor baby lying there all neglected... Rigor mortis had set in and I was already starting to plan the funeral... But luckily I had this lovely bar of soap handy, and with some TLC rub-a-dub-dubs, my brush was back to its old lovely self! It's nothing short of a miracle worker!If you're prone to accidents like myself or just want to ensure your brushes live their best life, this useful soap will be right there by your side to save those bristles from their darkest days. This brand is phenomenal and will be my go-to for my brush soap once I run out. It's already saved two brushes of mine. Yes. Two... (I need help.)Just make sure to play Splish Splash by Bobby Darin in the background. It's proven to help the cleaning go by.

I absolutely LOVE this product! It really cleans brushes and the hairs are so so soft and it even takes unruly brush hairs and smooths them. I used it on my hands and it cleanses the paint off leaving my skin soft. I can't say enough good things about this brush/hand soap!! Fantastic!

First, the box of soap is little. Not too little through I'm sure with occasional cleaning it will last about 2 years. I used this to clean my professional watercolor brushes. It worked on getting stains and excess paint out. Left my brushes feeling soft and shaped. I even took it a step further and washed a brush where the brush hair was frayed. The round brush hairs reshaped when I used this soap on it.Thanks, blick art materials for the great brush soap.

This soap is excellent! I use it just as it is listed: for brushes and for my hands, and it works beautifully. It cleans my brushes and my hands. I've been storing the bar in its box since I got it, and the box and soap are still in fine shape. I recommended this soap to a painter friend of mine just the other day. I stressed that it is good for your hands, too, and I think I may have won her over to my side. I definitely will be buying it again!

Lo utilizzo da 3 settimane e devo dire che con la pittura ad olio i pennelli vengono puliti perfettamente e anche molto semplicemente, inoltre non lascia un cattivo odore ed è naturale, quindi non da fastidio nemmeno se lo si utilizza per pulirsi le mani dalle tracce di colore.

This soap left all my brushes so much cleaner and restored flexibility to even the oldest ones I'd thought about throwing away!

Best product I have found to clean oil paint from my brushes . Would recommend this to every painter I know .
