In a search for refreshingly strong coffee blends, I came across this amazing and rare blend from South India called Sunbean Nicamalai. As a huge fan of hazelnut flavour, Nicamalai has become my favourite because of its nutty flavour. The aroma of the coffee is mind-blowing because of the little hint of acidity which balances the overall caffeine intake. I am definitely getting loads of these coffee beans to prepare South Indian filter decoction for my daily morning dose.

I prefer strong coffee. Thought of giving this flavor from ITC brand a try and was disappointed. And it's quite expensive.

This is an incredibly overpriced Arabica bean based coffee. It has a component of imported bean which is subject to 40% import duties in India which understandably makes it a little more costly to manufacture. But over Rs 2,400 per kilo is an absurd price which even the finest coffee roasted fresh India does not command. The flavour of the grind is decent but certainly not exceptional.

What do you get when 25 years of expertise in finest coffee beans is brought together? You get the delicious and creamy Sunbean Nicamalai. The way it tastes would make you believe that a long time of experience and hard work has been invested in making this fine roasted coffee powder. Sunbean has a mild acidic flavour with a floral ending makes you fall in love with coffee, if you already don’t.
